i say not enough. then again i spend alot of my stuff on the boost to make the games faster. I blew around 20k in the last 3 or 4 pves just on boosts.

going to start playing lighting rounds and more PVP now to get more though.

I don't track it overall, but I do know that on weeks where I can play a significant number of lightning rounds, I can certainly pick up around 50K just from that. But that doesn't happen every week, so I'll guess I average 70K-ish.

I wonder if the Devs look at this poll and think:

Look, the curve is around 40K. 37,500 is a "Rich Deposit", that costs $50.
Wait - players are getting a "free" $50 every week?!? Eliminate the seed teams, pronto!

    ............

Perhaps what they should get out of this is that everyone complains about a couple of issues, and ISO is one of them. There is not nearly enough ISO available in the game currently - the whales have commented it is impossible to keep up. Instead of trying to make it rarer, why not make it more common? Then you could actually boost the amount available to buy as well: maybe 50,000 iso for $50 will make it look more worthwhile for people to buy, and won't make it "pay to win" since more ISO is available and more ISO is (already) needed.

If you are going to continually bump up resources to obtain (characters), you need to also scale up ISO, HP, and roster spots - resources players need to obtain the characters.
  • Well, it might happen that one day, no one needs Iso anymore, because no one will be playing.

So the devs will be very proud to keep ALL THAT ISO for themselves.

Bumping this up, because I already forgot to track my iso earnings. I maxed t4or on the 31st, so I still have a pretty good idea of where I started on the 1st and I'll measure net iso earned (iso that can be used for leveling, subtracting out boost purchases because tracking them while I am placing well is obnoxious).

Feb 1 - approx 37k iso in the bank
Feb 2 - just over 51k at dinner time. That's probably when I will update.
Feb 3 - 63k. Slacking some after today, because I don't need any of the pve rewards.
    Feb 4 - 75k.
Feb 5 - 89k. Didn't play much - must have gotten iso from Facebook rewards or the pve sub ending
    Feb 6 - 97k
    Feb 7 - 105k (put 10k into icon_starlord.png)
    Feb 8 - 121k
    Feb 9 - 146k
    Feb 10 - 156k
    Feb 11 - 167k
    Feb 12 - 175k
Feb 13 - 188k - have lots of tokens to check tomorrow
Feb 14 - 230k. Lots of sold tokens, and short pve subs.
    Feb 15 - 234k (26k into icon_lukecage.png)
Feb 16 - 271k. This pve has been great for gathering iso.
    Feb 17 - 292k
    Feb 18 - 242k (74k to max icon_rocket.png)
    Feb 19 - 256k
    Feb 21 -294k (10k to icon_cyclops.png)
    Feb 22 - 282k (29k to icon_lukecage.png)
    Feb 23 - 297k
    Feb 24 - 305k
    Feb 26 - 338k
    Feb 28 - 396k

Total spent on leveling this month so far: 149k

Hahaha, I totally forgot, too! I'll start tracking from tomorrow. Sorry, Moon Roach! icon_e_confused.gif
  • I put 40-50, then started thinking about it. I tend to use my iso in between seasons, so I had less than 20K (probably less than 10K) 4 weeks ago.

    Since then I have:

    Leveled 3Thor from 114-135 (35-40K)
    Leveled Blade from 89-135 (71K)
Saved 54 heroic tokens waiting for today's rotation (10-15K depending on luck)
    Have 109K.

Based on those numbers, I have likely net about 220K in iso over the past 4 weeks - which is 55K per week. More than I thought
  • It should be noted that people who were around and active during the anniversary events will have their numbers severely skewed by them. Every day of those super LRs were good for a ridiculous amount of iso, depending on how much you played.

I have gotten about 180,000 or so since last Monday. So probably near 100k per week in a normal week.

I've been tracking everything since the beginning of the month, for both my accounts. My spreadsheet has gone through a few changes, but it now finally includes all the sources of ISO. Even those 10-30 ISO bonuses in PvP.

Over the first 5 days of February, with no real change to my playing patterns, I've been averaging 9500 per day for Moon Roach, 6400 per day for Wolveroach. Between seasons it's quiet, and with the 8 hour refresh in PvE I play less often and so there are fewer 20 ISO rewards.

I'll probably do some proper analysis at the end of the month, but right now my single biggest source of ISO appears to be unwanted 1* and 2* covers from tokens and PvP wins.

Hey are you (or anyone else, really) still tracking this? I've been diligently scribbling down all my rewards and I don't want to feel all alone...

I can say that doing this has given me some interesting insight into how I collect stuff, though. So I guess it's already a somewhat valuable endeavor.
  • I'm not sure but I took my Goddess from lvl94 to 170 this week. I wish I knew how to calculate how much iso that is

On Wednesday of this week I paid attention to ISO gained during Lightning Rounds. Since I had finished the Gauntlet and Webslinger this was the only ISO I got that day. I did 5 LR's finishing i the 25 - 50 range in 4 of them, and in the 9 - 25 range in one of them. Overall picked up 25,160 ISO including all covers sold (did not get any 3*'s from either the standard tokens nor the 9 event reward tokens, so all of those characters were sold). I have about 10 characters at 166, but nothing higher than that, so mostly I do well just using the LR featured characters plus 166 Patch when possible (i.e. not the Sentry rounds) to minimize health pack use.

This is why I think it is a good investment to put ISO into LR characters (assuming you don't have lots of X-Force + 4-Thor covers). You really only need to get them into the 130's (so they buff to 200+) and people will pretty much stop attacking you. You can reap massive amounts of ISO every week. And with the current system, it appears that a character adding to LR"s will be in them for at least three months, so the investment pays many times over.

I've been recording everything. (Edit: Except I didn't separate LR from "normal" PvP, that was a mistake that I may fix if I do this again.) With 13 days done, the summary of daily figures gives this (dash and tarnation at the lack of tabular formatting options):
      Moon Roach Wolveroach Average 9779.23 6036.92 Median 9630 6310 Minimum 4320 2150 Maximum 15970 8690

If I ever find out how, I'll probably publish my final spreadsheet on google docs.

At the end of the month I'll figure out how and what to present.

You needed 9821 ISO to take her to 94, 115477 for 170, so that's 105656.

There are spreadsheets available, linked on the forums somewhere. I'm afraid I forgot where I stole, er, homaged mine from.

I just didn't spend any ISO for two 10 days.

I haven't really spent any for a couple weeks. Should be over 300k soon.

Well it's nice to know I am not, in fact, alone. icon_e_smile.gif I'll publish my results at the end of the month, but as per Moon Roach's fine example, here are some preliminary figures:

10 days tallied, not counting today
    Avg. Iso per day: 10,154
    One-day high: 21,670
    One-day low: 3,890

I've been tracking other rewards as well, and if anyone else is doing the same, I'll chuck that all into the final document.
