I'd love to know the chances of this happening...

  • I'm guessing there can be up to 30 seconds delay between virtually any data in this game and that is usually sufficient to explain any weirdness with timing issues. For example quite a few times I finished a game and it'd say you have some number of points, you check leaderboard and you have 30 less points and you throw up a shield to cut your losses, and you can wait 30 seconds or even longer and it'll eventually tell you 'you were attacked for 30'. There's no surprise there since that event has already happened but it can take that long before the game figured you should know.

Here's the low down. Due to the new shielding there is a massive push at the 3 hr mark and if you are one that joined in there people que you up and then they sit until the end and do that last minute rush with you as the target. How could he have done it with his deck? Boosts. He just has to AP boost red and blue, and red damage and between Daken and Rogers he would rip you apart.

I'm finding it very bad to do the 3hr rush, instead you are better off coming in from an 8hr shield, using the 3hr hour shield at maybe an hour left to push a little and maybe deter people from going after you. Then have people qued if need be for that last 2 minute burst. But I think most people make a run before the 3 hr mark and drop an 8 hr shield, then with 3hr's left, push and use their 3hr shield and then burst the last 2 mintues or god forbid drop the 24 hr shield, although they could have timed it to have the 8hr shield ready. Either way, you got qued up during your last push as your compention was probably watching you and struck.
  • I was number 5 in your bracket .. the two guys you qued broke the shield in last hour .. flash269 was actually unshielded for more than 1 hour because he mistimed his shield cooldown .. he went from 1st place to 10th in a matter of minutes ..
  • I didnot understand your post clearly but if you are sayingthat the guy who came 1st was the one who attacked you then fyi he was playing with a lev 260 xforce and 200 ladythor .. I was jumping off his points yesterday and he was using the same combo from day 1 of the event .. may be it was someone with a lower score who qued you up to attack you in the last few moments
