Not to be a curmudgeon, but D3P don't have the best record for flawless releases of new or updated functionality.
Yet again I ask, will there be someone available on support over the extended Christmas break should there be any issues with the new mode and episode?
It's bad enough having to wait until Monday morning in the One True Time Zone for missing points in Prodigal Sun to be noticed and fixed, but Christmas? What could possibly go wrong?0 -

I'd assume we would get a reward based on how many enemies we take out in the survival fight, or maybe after every finished wave.0

Survival Mode should be one loooooong , continuous, non stop fight. And since fake healing is usually taken away after each match, it should now be very useful if the match does not end until you die. So, yeah, time pick up old Spidey and dust him off.0 -

Hmm... i must have missed out the part about it being part of the new episode. Wonder how they are going to put it in the pve... If it's a new mission requirement, and it still favour speed for placement, then it's the same old stuff again.0 -
Awesome, I'm excited to see new story content! Since shaking off the PvE yoke I just play each node once or twice so that I can see the dialog/story contribution. I hope the nodes start off beatable (I remember in Rocket & Groot where I couldn't beat the last two or three nodes in a few of the subs, and had to rely on the Kindness of Others to post the relevant story tidbits), and only start getting nasty after being completed several times.0

All 3 wolvies we have have been updated graphically. Looks pretty badass.

Animations and the character took a bit to load in
For awhile I had invisible xforce man
I think I liked the old xforce SS animation better.
I think the new green one is nice0 -
I guess it's time to bring my spidey from 100 to 141. I've always enjoyed him, mnmags and GSBW as a "stun everyone and AoE until it's over" combo0

Of course that anyone in their right mind will dump spidy for obw I mean stealing ap effecting enemy count downs and supper good at healing no other healer can do that.0 -

It is Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much easier to place in the top 1% globally than hoping you don't have another crazy in your bracket. And people actually want to reduce the size of reward brackets? Craziness0 -
Lol, the new survival mode just makes going through the nodes last longer every 3 hours. I like it though...but just makes the grind even more of a grind.0

By Survival MODE did you really mean Survival NODE?
Or are you planning on a stand alone option
Survival Node, just like every other node but 3-4 times longer, and only gives a reward once
I don't think the development team and the players have the same definition of "FUN"0 -

Yeah, I think we have different definitions of "new mode" if this is all we're getting by way of a new experience. I was expecting an alternative to PvE grindfests for "single-player" play, and if this is just part of the grindfest that's a huge disappointment.0 -

When they say survival mode I was thinking of maybe 5 or so different themed nodes that you can play for as much as you want with say 100 waves and maybe they offer you something cool for hitting certain wave milestones. Sure it would probably devolve into Captain America stunfest or whatever but it'd be something else to do when nothing interesting is going on for PvP or PvE. Was it too much to ask for a static level difficulty survival mode that just keeps getting harder and harder? Maybe even throw in some kind of global scoreboard ranked by number of waves with tiebreaker going to whoever got it first, so that you can see soandso has wave 95 and you can decide if you're crazy enough to challenge that.0
