    It's really unfortunate for some players, but shards 4 and 5 often end up dominated by high scores these days. When I heard of the 1300 progression for this event and saw that shard 5 would have a nice 3 PM end time for me, I knew I would go to shard 5 to ride coattails of harder working players for easy 1300 points. Cue reaching 1380+ points unshielded, but only getting 15th in my bracket and drifting down to 17th in a few minutes. I made a 240 point hop later and only sniffed top 10 to be pushed out of it minutes later. I knowingly traded off placement in t5 or maybe even t10 for a guaranteed progression reward.
    Don't be too upset though, Shulkie's best cover is double this time and her worst (green) is t5, while blue is completely and utterly useless most of the time outside of PvE. She's also not essential or useful in any way for underdeveloped and endgame rosters alike. Outside of PvE, anyway, where she can be as good a warm body as Sentry, at her respectable health level.
    I doubt that even past shields change shards 4 and 5 will get any easier for placement. For now, if you desire placement and can't be bothered with reaching 1100-1300 covers anyway, try to join shards 1 through 3.

    With the incoming change to shields, you'll probably find that season scores will be virtually settled by the pvp's before that change takes effect. It's quite possible that scores in this pvp are worth double those of scores after the next patch.

    I had a lot of fun in this event. Was interesting to see us shard 4 folks feed off each other. We all fought hard for those 1300 well deserved points. Can't wait to do it again in a couple days...

    I created a new account for my phone so that I could play super casual F2P while away from my computer. I finally got my 1* characters to a level where I figured I'd join this and beat the seed characters for some free ISO and a low-ish placement that might also net me some more ISO.

    Managed to beat 3 lvl 1-2 seed teams, and then it threw up a wall of 166...at 67 points. That strikes me as a bit early to hit that wall.
