Yeah, I potentially got screwed out of better rewards because of this too. I had just started the simulator and had done 3 matches for maybe 100 points when it ended unexpectedly. I had planned on getting 1500-2000+ depending on how things went, which should have pushed me well into the top 50 individual season rankings.

But I guess I miss out because of D3's incompetence.

Dam, this is one subtle yet devastating bug. Hopefully for next season the visual-time and the actual-end-time are synced up. I do hope there will be some compensation as that 3 hours could have meant a whole lot. Hopefully the season rewards tiers will be extended

As a commander of an alliance that had people bail at the last minute, those 3 hours would have been helpful to get us back to the top 100. Last I saw, we were 109th with 19 members.

was working on getting personal rewards, and our alliance wasn't too far from top 100. some of us were hoping to utilize the sim to push us forward too.

It amazes me sometimes how many ways people can figure they got screwed, and how much they deserve in compensation. Sure, there was a visual error, and even I had plans for the last three sim hours, but it started at the same time for everyone, and ended at the same time. IF some of the alliance standings changed due to the still open pvp and rewards changed, then that's a problem. Otherwise, it was fair for everyone.

Lost out on a Mystique cover. Was over 2300 with plenty of time left. Even worse ,I spent lots of HP on single hops above 2000.

Before you light your torches and pick up your pitchforks and march on D3 headquarters, will you at least allow them the time to try to remedy the situation? It's the middle of the night for them and Ice has already said it will be looked into tomorrow. There will be nothing done until they get to work and investigate their options.

Sure, if the response is "tough luck", then go crazy, but maybe they have learned their lesson and will compensate accordingly.

Just wanted to chime in that I got hosed by this bug too.
Being a late night PST player, I'm in the last time choice for Doc Ock PVP and was trying to push to get top50 season reward.
Hopefully this can be addressed and fixed.

I had a member switched to sister alliance. Within 15 minutes he was to return with 2 hrs time remaining. Now D3 screwed me and him over. ****?! Very pissed ATM!

Many of u are raging bout ur personal aim, and there's still enough time to score more.
But what about the barely top 100 allies? lot of players there busting their **** off for a month to get T100.
The proportion of cheers and rage is now the same there.
And i also notice, within last 6hours, there's a huge fall n leap in 50-150 allies.
Just assumption but this problem potentially cost 800 player (40x20 allies in 80-120) ragequitting.
Best solution is to extend T100 rewards to T150.
There has to be compensation for them.

Yeah I can't say I'm super pissed about this. I haven't started 8 is enough yet, and with the points from that it looked like I would have at least eked into the top 50 for a few extra heroic tokens (and that little extra percentage points the 10-pack brings), but it's not a huge deal. I don't even know how they would go about compensating me, or anyone else in my situation. Thankfully my alliance was pretty safely into the top 100 and didn't need the extra points that I would have put up, but I can imagine quite a few alliances were just outside of 100 but still had guys playing either 8 is enough or SHIELD Sim to help get them over the hump. That or they were fiercely recruiting to ensure top 100 (which we might as well accept is a legitimate thing for them to do).

tl;dr - while likely limiting my personal season placement, this had fairly minimal impact on me, but it's no small blunder and had likely very large impacts on at least several hundred people (not to mention confusion for everyone else).

I understand the alliance problem but what about individuals who lost out on season rewards. I missed top 50 by literally 40 pts. I was in 45th and was waiting until my shield was up to push more. What will d3 do to solve our individual problems?
