    So is there a trick to getting top 100? I used to be able to do it just by joining the event in the last couple hours and staying around 400 points. Now with the different end times, I can't do that because people are already in the 1000s with shields when I join.

    No you're not alone. I run into that wall and struggle my way through 2 battles per 5 heals. I used to do really well in PVP but now I get railed. My brackets will whip up around 900pts+ for the top 10 spots and you can imagine where I fall with 500-600pts. It's brutal out there but there is a very convincing way to get money from the player and that's to increase the difficulty.

    Join an EU timeslice. My brackets have switched from top-10 2000 pointers to top 10 700 pointers.

    (Just goes to show you how far behind the curve EU players have been kept over the past year, doesn't it?)
