  • the past 2 or so pvps (not including hollowpoint) i was hopping with maxed XF and Fury...fully boosted, they are fast and deadly. Not Sentry Hood fast and deadly, but quick enough to get 3 fight hops up until about 1400 points.

When you say fully boosted are you talking 3x blk/grn, 3x blue/purple and 3x all? What AP do you target first, black? What targets slow you down the most?

    Thanks!

Patch Hulk with +3 Green is fast enough for a double hop and usually only Hulk needs healthpacks.

Sure the PatcHulk bombs work well. I really like this. But if ur very unlucky hulk takes to much damage or even gets killed.
And yes.. sometimes its even faster than SenHood
    appreciate. Thx

Patch/Hulk only have active powers on Red/Green, so is very susceptible to board failure I would think. I know Hulk magically creates green but still. Depending on the guest, I wouldn't use this combo as a main team.

Patch is very vast, that's true. I pair him with Daken quite frequently, with the added bonus of low healthpack.png usage. He also pairs well with Black Panther.

Marvel...yes. So i go into the fight with the boosts that u listed. In terms of what colors i prioritize, i usually let the board decide that. But in general terms, if everything is equal and i can make a green match on my first turn, i can fire off XForce on turn 2.

One of the best things about this team is that u have really powerful actives on every color except for red. In a non sentry world, if featured character is live on red, XF Fury are plenty fast.

    hope this helps.

If there's an enemy hood, go for green, 1 x-force is enough to put them into match damage kill range

Tried hopping against a 270 XForce/Fury combo. Bad **** idea. Ate a mini-cascade in black. That led to Surgical Strike, which followed into Unibeam. Almost got the game under control before Escape Plan one shot my Patch. Too many colors to deny and too much power in them for my level 126s. Skipping max XFury teams from now on.
  • The answer can still be Sentry-Hood. You just can't fit 3 matches in any more without incredible luck. If it's a bad board, you're down to 1 per hop.

In other words, he's just like everyone else now.

But people that have xforce can still shield hop like no other.
  • I think, now that Sentry is nerfed, it will all be about defense.

And by defense, I mean own an Xforce and Nick Fury or Lady Thor.

That way you won't be attacked as often.

Shield hopping will be less necessary.
