Progress not counting in Smashing Hulk tournament

I have created a ticket with support yesterday evening (gmt time) about this issue. Dunno if it's fixed yet. At first I thought the points were delayed which made me quit the game and restart it. This would work when there was a delay due to server strains. I'm wondering if anyone got points from the games that didn't seem to count when the issue was ongoing. Obviously assuming now it works for some people. Steam, Win7 64 bit.

update: it works for me now.
  • It's the next day now and my points seem to finally start counting. Now I need to catch up icon_e_confused.gif
  • Still having this issue. I'm on iOS, and no matter how many matches I win, I stay on 0 points.
    Great job, D3P! (sarcasm)
  • I'm still having the same problem, and I can't chat with anyone in my alliance to let them know why I'm not scoring. I'm also in line for the Android 5.0 upgrade on my Nexus 7 (2013) tablet, and I see that's going to cause even more issues.
  • Glad to hear some of you are actually racking up points after waiting a while. Not working for me though...2 wins with 0 progress yesterday, let it sit until today (in case it wasn't supposed to be letting me play with the end time I selected) and still getting nothing. Note 2/Jelly Bean. I hate contacting support but it looks like that's my next step.

Thought I had a workaround solution to the Android Lollipop crashes by using iPad, apparently now dealing with this problem of points not being counted.

It's actually sporadic, sometimes it counts the points, sometimes it doesn't. icon_e_sad.gif

Hi all, thanks for the reports. Basically, the problem was that the first 5 opponents you fight in this event might be 0 points fights. We think we have fixed this, but if you still have opponents cached in your game, you may still experience some 0 point fights. To try to flush them out, follow these instructions from one of our engineers:

    1) Force quit and restart the game. (A little cliche, but it'll help.)
    2) Skip all the visible pins.
    3) They'll be replaced with fights worth points again.

If you do this and still get 0 point fights, post here.

I may not have time to reply to anything else in this thread, but I'm keeping an eye on it.

Does anyone in your alliance frequent the forums? You should send out some PMs or post to the alliance forum thread if your alliance has a dedicated one, so they know what's going on.

This is definitely not the issue. I chose opponents worth over 30 points each, and won three fights. I am still showing zero points. I am on IOS.

Ok, tried again. Refreshed all nodes. Played another match that should have been worth 27 points, score still shows as zero. This is very broken.

Hey energythief, thanks for trying that out. Could you PM me your in-game name so I can look at some logs?

I think the end times option is buggy because the event ended more than 5 hours early for me and a few of my alliance mates. icon_cry.gif
  • I can confirm I am getting zero points after everything I've done.

Hey everyone -- thanks for all your reports; we've fixed a few of the problems you've reported for Black Widow, and I hope it's more reliable. However, one of the major sources of zero-point fights is hard to flush out of The Hulk's system (ew, what?). So, it would be extra helpful if you can let us know about 0-point missions in the Black Widow event, if you've seen them. If you have, I'd love to know when it happened (roughly, and please include a time zone), as well as your in-game name (DM is fine), and the name of the player you went up against (if you remember it).

I'll try to keep up with the forums over the weekend. Thanks again for playing -- even if you don't directly give feedback, you're filling our logs with useful debug data.

From what I can tell, you can only score points from people who happen to have picked the same Time-Bracket as you... Which is awful. Have gotten zero points from all but one match. It was from somebody I'd seen on my bracket's top 10. Did a couple more matches after, that were also zero points. One more reason to keep me playing...
D3 should've just responded with "working as intended" (the usual mantra).

Cross-offset PVP is definitely disabled -- it creates a lot of problems when one offset ends and the later ones continue on. Of course, that means you shouldn't be given the opportunity to attack people from other offsets.

We've fixed one bug that started players out with enemy pins from the wrong offset in The Hulk; if you're seeing more zero-point enemies in Black Widow, any details you can provide would really help fix it.

Just seas of seed teams as far as the eye can see, up to about 250 points up the ladder, where things starting changing back to normal.

I had that amount of seed teams once when I entered an event the moment it started, so I don't think it's something new.
