I'd like to know if my PVE strategy is sound, given that I'm a fairly new player (day 68) and I'm interested in the PVE progression rewards in addition to the placement rewards. Currently, I join each PVE sub early, and get to the point of opening up the essential nodes, and hit those once each (and sometimes others if I have time and feel like opening more nodes) every 2.5 hrs. Then before going to sleep I'll grind out the highest value nodes until their refresh time is around 7 or 8 hrs so they'll be refreshed when I wake up. I'll also of course grind out the nodes before the sub end as well. I know there are a lot of factors involved in the scoring that I don't understand, so I want to make sure I'm not shooting myself in the foot.

    Thanks
  • This guide is AWESOME!! I just wish I had come across it months ago. I am in the 2* -> 3* transition and I agree with your top character picks. The guide was written before Blade and Mystique were released. Those two look promising. Do you have any feedback regarding them? Are they worth going after? I looked at Polarity's guide but he hasn't updated it in 2 months. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. HP is in limited supply. I don't want to buy shields to secure them in PvP if they're not worthwhile. Thanks.

Hitting the nodes hard before bed is a good strategy. It gives you the most points and means you will not fall too far in the event while you sleep. One thing is if you start early you get in an event with crazy grinders. If you join 18-24 hours in you can still hit the progressions but might get into an easier bracket. You will still have to deal with scaling, but you should be able to still get all progresion rewards no problem starting a little later. This is only for entering the event. Once in you want to enter a sub as quickly as you can so you can earn more points. You can actually pull ahead of people if you get into the 2nd sub right away and get a full clear. This can be a grind, but if you need to make up points in the main can be a life saver.
