Unjustly Sandboxed

I have been unjustly sandboxed. This is a horrible way to treat a loyal customer who invested quite
a bit of cash in your game, D3.

I have been waiting for 3 days to hear from you.

I have been removed from my alliance, The X-Men 2.

I expect you to solve this asap and compensate me accordingly.

Sandboxing one of your biggest and most loyal customers?

    SOUNDS LEGIT!

Also: Once you're done reinstating GD I'd love to have someone respond to my ticket regarding the Stark salary I purchased but never received.

    Please bring back Gipsy Danger.
  • Totally unacceptable. No response from DS!!!! What's all the waiting? Totally unreasonable!
  • What's with the slow response? Unacceptable to have done such an act done to Gipsy_Danger! Honestly get your act together! Don't ever make such mistakes!!!
  • Players like GD make this game what it is as a part of the great mpq community.
Stop this random sandboxing or others might think about if ist worth still spending money on this game and continue playing.

Please unsandbox Gipsy. That's 50 points to a lot of us.

You were in your alliance as of the end of Magnetic Mayhem according to the results so you've been sandboxed for no more than 12.25 hours.

That said, unjustly sandboxing someone, especially a player known to be a big spender, is totally unacceptable. There should be better checks and balances for this. It seems like they have a "sandbox first, check later" attitude when it should be the other way around.

This also deserves a better and quicker response from CS. Someone just spent $99.99USD on your game. Someone that does this regularly. You should be fixing this ASAP.

50 points every time they hop is more like it. Easily 300-500 points overall for some of us.
  • Bring back Gipsy Danger. This is unacceptable.

You sandbox GD. You make members of our alliance fight for refunds due to boost glitch. You tell us not to worry about obviously suspicious accounts.

Get your customer service in order.

So basically, you've been waiting the weekend when there was no one available to unsandbox you.

The same thing happened to Twysta and one other person. It seems to take a week to get unsandboxed.

When one of the largest, legit spenders gets sandboxed, it's time to evaluate your anti-cheating measures.

Unbox him please, and fix this.

Well at first his account was flagged due to some transaction glitch (I'm guessing) As he was still showing up in X2 alliance page but was unable to be Q'd in PvP and also didn't show up in brackets. From what others have told me an account may be flagged first before it is fully sandboxed. As of this morning the account was completely sandboxed.

Appears to have been resolved now though which is good response but It makes me wonder if the account was auto flagged didn't somebody then have to look at the account and make the decision to sandbox it? That's unsettling...
  • D3 CS should be 24/7. it is a great inconvenience to be sandboxed at an inopportune time. i just hope it gets resolved soon.

OK. That makes more sense. I doubt their anti-cheating automation is smart enough to differentiate between transaction glitch and cheating and seeing as it was the weekend nobody likely looked at it until this morning (PST) and fixed it. Glad to see they got on it right away for a change.

    WELCOME BACK GD!

At the very least they should have someone on call 24/7 fro emergency situations like this. They don't need to address every ticket, but maybe take care of these types that impact an whole alliance.
  • I think the Anniversary is defnitely over, and we are back to our daily routine icon_razz.gif
  • How do we get a response to this? one of our members "Sepie" was also sandboxed over the weekend for no apparently good reason, it was especially unfortunate since this happened RIGHT before the end of the event, so he got zero credit and our alliance lost a big chunk of points icon_e_sad.gif

He has sent an email to the devs, and so has one of our other commanders.... just no response yet.

The transactional glitch seems to be common. A South Korean based player I know missed an event due to sandboxing for that reason.

Again, took 3-5 days to fix.
  • I wonder if he will get any form of compensation for this? It affected not just him and his alliance rewards, but reduced our alliance rank as well for happening at this time.

Anyways...thanks, hopefully it does get resolved soon!
  • I was unfairly sandboxed through means that we're never explained to me. Ice_IX was kind enough to cut through the red tape and get me back in action. I suggest contacting him directly if yo have not already done so.

Past track record says; no, he and your alliance won't.
D3/Demiurge CS has been repeatedly proven stingy with goodwill gifts or reimbursements, if you can even get them to come up with a proper response at all.
There are a few stories citing 'excellent service' but those seem far and between. (And I have my suspicions if they're not made by shills hired by whatever external company is handling the CS for D3P/Demiurge...)
