Game breaking glitch (annoying tutorial pop up)
I have encountered a glitch which locked me out from playing the game. The glitch involves the new cover training system, and the old tutorial hints.
I received an Iron Man Armored Assault cover via token. When I claim it, the hint pops up, "guiding" me how to train my abilities. It will lock me into going into the train menu, with no way of ignoring or canceling the hint. I cannot train Armored Assault any further, as I have reached the ability limit of 4/4/5 max. The button for train is greyed out and I cannot cancel or ignore the hint. This locks me to the screen and I cannot do anything in the game.
I tried exiting the app and restarting. It does nothing as the same hint will pop up as soon as I enter the game and the cycle continues.
My suggestion to fix this glitch is to simply add an option to ignore Hints, or be able to cancel a hint when prompted. Also, resetting the Hints from options was nEot helpful.

I was also looking forward to winning the Spider-man cover, but those hopes are dashed due to this bug locking me out of finishing the tournament.

I would send an in-game message with player info, but as I can't tap anything but what the tutorial guide tells me to, I can't open the envelope button on the top right corner. The support email address is also not very helpful either as I got a generic bot response. Hopefully some one has found a way to get around this glitch so I can actually play the game, or a quick in-game patch is pushed.0

I'll do my best. As I said, I personally don't have access to the customer support tools, so I can't poke the database myself. I *can* push all the bits needed for the people who do have those tools to do what they need to do though.
Out of curiosity in trying to track things down. Did you by any chance use the Reset Hints function in the Options at all? Trying to figure out why a Tutorial that you're obviously past would be rearing its head again.0 -
My guess is that since I used a cover token to get the Armored Assault, and the ability system was revamped, it treated my iron man as a new player overall. Some players may not have ha a problem with this as thu can still train abilities, but for players who hit the max cap, this can be a problem, as you can't avoid or cancel the hint guiding you to train the new cover.
Only after I ran into this problem, I tried a couple of different things to get rid of the tutorial hint. I tried resetting hints, reinstalling the app, resyncing with my Facebook link, etc. None of these things have helped.0 -

I am also suffering from this issue. Any assistance is greatly appreciated as I want to access teh PVE event asap. Other folks in the forums have posted about this.I am currently "Stuck in training power" screen. I can confirm this came after hit "RESET HINTS " and won a cover for a maxed out heroe. I missed a pop up for the new event and clicked reset hints in hopes of reading it again. Now I am stuck. Any fixes?0

Just to let everyone know, we're currently, right this second, looking into this. It *seems* to be relatively isolated cases, but people who get hit naturally can't progress at all. If you have this issue, *please* make sure you've made a support ticket about it. If you can hit the Feedback button (the mail icon in the upper right) ingame, that's the best way. If not, please mail mobilesupport@d3p.us with your PVP name and/or the email you have linked to Facebook (if you linked our game to FB).0

Thanks for the update. I was hit by the bug and its rather frustrating. Any ETA on a fix? The unstable iso event is cool and the rewards are incredible and losing out nearly 2 days of progress will hurt badly.0

Has anyone hit by the bug managed to send and in game e-mail? I have tried for a few minutes to hit the mail icon before the pop up but no luck. Any one else?0

As far as I can tell, there is no way to do anything other than hit the options button before the message pops.
Now if only there was a 'disable hints' button instead of reset hints.
I reset the hints on mine A LONG time ago; and have played through the early stages repeatedly. I have no idea why I got this bug now!0 -
I think that is one of the most frustrating things about this bug.
Also, I don't think I'm getting daily login bonuses, as the screen jumps straight to the tutorial and doesn't show I got the login bonus.0 -

I wish they made some other way to retrieve your player ID. I don't exactly remember which pvp name I entered, maybe that us why they haven't pushed me a fix.0

OMG finally got the fix. I'm so happy!
What I did was go to the options menu before you start the game and click the "connect to Facebook icon". It connected and then I entered the game. The stupid tutorial hint was gone and the new events popped up.0
