HP Advice Poll: When is is worth 1250HP to upgrade a skill?

    I would only buy covers to finish off characters. Like buy the last cover you need (Or 2), but only for high tier characters or good ones. Like Sentry, Patch, LDaken, etc.

    I've only done it for two characters, both times to finish a respec - 5th yellow for Patch and 5th Blue for Hood. Both times it caused me to sell off 1* characters when I couldn't afford the roster slots for new additions. And both times it was totally worth it.

    But I can't think of another cover I'd want enough to spend this much on anymore. My Sentry only has 4 yellow, LDaken only 2 purple, Magneto not enough of anything. But none of those seem that important to me at this stage.

    I bought a Green Thor cover once he was already 166 and built at 4/5/4. It helped quite a bit.

    Generally I wouldn't advise buying covers because the iso hole you are in is already large enough. Adding covers while depleting imcoin.png only serves to make that hole bigger. The exception is as above, if a character is already 166 and 1 cover away from the prefered build.

    Pretty much this. With a few exceptions (5th covers for things like icon_punisher.pngredflag.png that aren't level-dependent), I don't buy covers unless I have the Iso to take advantage of at least most of the softcap bump the cover gives me. Obviously, respeccing a character that's already at 166 doesn't bump the level cap....
