Funny little side note. My wife and I often play a similar game. One of use will select 3 characters and load them in the Shield Simulator as if going to start a match. The other then has to find the common link between the 3.

Examples include, 3 females, 3 blonds, 3 that fly, 3 that have helmets, 3 with covered faces, 3 with capes, 3 that use guns, 3 that are wearing all white/black/red/blue. Just a little game we like to play before bed sometimes.

@Nonce, if you ever want do this again, my wife and I have a whole list of these.

We also pick 2 the same and 1 that is different. "One of these is not like the others" or "Which of these does not belong".

#9, they all attack the board with lightning, guns, fire, or birds ?

#12 all have black on their costumes ?

Only thing I've seen for #6 is abilities that decrease in cost, but there is no OBW, Bullseye, Hawkeye on there, so that cant be it

I think scotee got 9 with the low health thing, so that leaves 12. I was thinking active abilities that can covert one color ap into other colors. Thor and rags kind of fit too, but there's no guarantee of matches (and we've all needed that thunder strike to make just one match or set up a match 5 and it doesn't happen). Similarly pure board shakeup like Loki or cMags (or hulk, juggs, etc.) aren't guaranteed to make any cascades either.

Edit: should qualify my answer by saying the abilities actually destroy tiles to generate ap, since obw and psylocke can steal it, but they aren't listed)
