I wish I could get a long load time. I get a "Login failed" message, followed by Comm Link Disrupted now that ive updated to R61.

An update from the developers:
The extended load times some users have experienced are temporary and should only be a first-time occurrence after patching. Loading should revert to normal as you continue to play. Additionally, you should not experience increased loading times with future patches.
If you continue to have loading issues please let us know.0 -
Does this mean that art files are indeed being downloaded as we play? If so there should be some kind of warning to players not to load the game for the first time on cellular, just like they're warned not to download an update to the app on cellular.0

Seeing long load times on Samsung Galaxy S5 and Nexus 7 (2012 model)
Takes about 30 seconds to go from node to character select screen. Both on Wifi in Arizona.0 -

This has persisted for the last two hours since I started after the update. Start up, every event, every sub-event, every page and every fight.0 -
I updated my Android device yesterday as the patch became mandatory. Been playing a little and as David said, after the first 3-4 loading screens (Which where relatively long) they seem to disappear.
CAUTION!
The load screens DO download content. Ever since I updated and went through all the loading screens my app has downloaded more than 100MB of data. So do NOT go through the load screens if you are on a data plan!
Now I know this is a one time thing. But seriously this is POOR development. Why on earth did you reduce the app size? To fool me into burning my data plan? Seriously 100+ MB of data? And what bothers me more is that there was no WARNING?! Depending on the country 100 MB of data is actually expensive to pay for.
Really frustrated with this poor decision and development. What you actually did is cut down the initial download in half, then FORCE people to download all the rest while in game. No difference and nothing actually done to speed up anything. All you managed to do is burn a lot of people's data plan without them even knowing.

I get why the game tries to part us with our money where hp and iso are concerned, but trapping us into higher data charges just seems malicious.0
