Hidden Stash Nevada III and The Last Piece

Holy Hell IceIX you are not joking around with these guys are you. Ive been running a team of 18 Punisher 72 Wolvy and 85 thor/Cstorm / 72 GSBW. They have more or less been able to keep up with everything the Hulk tourney has thrown at them but The last piece? Between Juggernaut and Ragnarok alone you are talking over THIRTY THREE THOUSAND HEALTH. If you throw in Moonstones Twelve K you're looking at... (doing math) 46,307 health to burn through. That is insane.

I'm not complaining about the difficulty per se, the purpose of this thread is because I want to know who the people are who actually beaten the last mission are. I beat Nevada 3 by the skin of my teeth, and I dare not even try The Last Piece. So what are you guys running to complete this thing?

  • I think with the addition of Hulk and Punisher, both 3*, the ISO 8 sale is not a coincidence.

I puffy heart Spidey and his stun lock abilities.

    L85 Wolverine
    L50 Punisher
    L120 Spidey

Edit: +3 all, +3 blue/purple, +3 green/black for boosts. Fire off Feral Claws twice, then gather blue and green AP until the AI has enough AP to be dangerous. Stun lock Juggs and Rags. Kill Moonstone, then them.

I think I'm at 2 wins and 2 losses with The Last Piece. Probably my worst record to date. I run 85 wolvie, 120 spidey, 15 punisher. I use all three boosts, too.

Juggs getting a headbutt off is pretty brutal.

Haven't had much trouble with Nevada III.

I can imagine Spidey's one of the only ways to take them out effectively. Punisher being a requirement for the mission also screws up the people like me who only have two covers( SItting at 1/0/1 right now).

I think it ties in more to my luck when it comes to drawing cards. Spidey is a 2/0/1 and my Rag is only a 1/1 right now. I have Spidey, Doom, Magneto, and Hood all sitting at level 28, with Rag and Punisher sitting at 18) My tops are Storm/Thor 85, GSBW 76, IM40 73, AXW 72, and Daken 69. I have some B teams like IM35 at 50, OBW at 48, Loki 41, Bag Lady 35, XW 34, and it just goes down from there.
  • I run a 85 wolvie/69 punisher/and late 70 ' s hood, and go in with full stockpile boosts. Punisher's max red is awesome here, and just gotta keep on putting out wolvie strike tiles. My order of elimination is rags, juggie, then moonstone. Completed a couple times now. And if someone needs to tank a juggie headbutt, Hood is my man to take on for the team. Lol.

All I wanted for christmas is 5 Blue Spidey covers. Having him at 2/0/1 makes me really sad considering he's my favorite Marvel character.
  • Haven't been there yet, but sure I will try magneto/wolverine.
  • Wolverine 85, 5/3/5
    Thor 85, 5/5/3
    The Punisher (15, 0/1/1)

    Boosts:

    All colors
    Green and black
    Yellow and red

    Opening:

    1. Unless there are 4(5)-of-a-kind red or green, match green if available.
2.1 Feral Claws on Ragnarok (as many times as mana/red tiles will bear).
    2.2 Mjolnir's Might on Ragnarok.
2.3 If enough yellow cascades, Call the Storm on Ragnarok. If not, match yellow until able to Call the Storm.
    3. Keep matching green and using Feral claws to kill off Ragnarok, or if cascades yield black, use Molotov Cocktail.
    4. Match red untilcycle can be repeated on Juggernaut, then Moonstone.

Feral Claws is your best friend here. Don't use Mjolnir's Might if you think you can add more strike tiles that won't be matched together by the enemy.

I've only lost once, because I got careless. Otherwise this is a beatable, if challenging battle.

That's the EXACT same team I have been using. Lol (85 Thor/72 Wolvie/18 Punisher)

I barely beat them with about 1000-1400 health left on Thor who was my character. It's not easy by any means but it's doable if your characters are close to that level. My opening tile set wasn't phenomenal so it may be a little easier if you get lucky there.

I was struggling on that one, even boosted with my 128 Punisher, 141 Spiderman and 85 Wolverine. I ended up beating it, but it was tough. Between Rag and Jug there are lots of opportunities for the AI to get massive cascades that fuel Jugs 6.5k Headbutt.

Jesus! I hope it's not rude to ask, but did you use a lot of hero points to max out your Punisher? I've only got two covers on him right now, but I'm hoping to get a third from hitting 50k, and a fourth(and possible fifth) from the last avengers tournament.

I just can't imagine considering I kept having trouble with Rag Thunderclapping and Jugg Crashing in the third mission. I looked at the fourth mission and noped right out just by looking at the health of them.

I got 3 covers from the PVE event and 2 more from the PVP tournament last weekend. He is currently 5/3/4 with the missing cover being the red one I will "hopefully" get at 50k points in this PVE event. The other covers were purchased with HP, 3 or 4 from HP I had pooled from events and the rest purchased.

Oh wow. I didn't even read your name or I would've realized. "Oh, it's Bainee." Haha.
How many points are you at in the event? Im currently hovering just around 46.3k and I'm really hoping I can reach the 50k amount. It just depends on how much I can farm out of the first two parts of the second area. I don't think I'll be able to farm three very well or beat four at all.

I just did this one again and walked out with no deaths and full health. This mission comes down to the frequency and size of the cascades the AI gets. It seems like it would take a lot of luck to beat this one without a Spiderman for a stun lock.

Overall I am 2 out of 4 on this mission all boosted. My first attempt my punisher was about 60% health, which usually doesn't matter. After getting the **** kicked out of me I healed and tried again only to watch never ending cascades. My third attempt I lost Spiderman after about 10 round. Fortunately Rag was almost dead and I managed to finish him off and squeak out the win with Wolverine and Punisher at 80%+ health.

I am at 46.7k, I was holding off running the missions as I usually take advantage of the rubberbanding to save on some grinding. But with the difficulty of this set of missions the top spot hasn't moved up much. At this point I am a little concerned that we will fall short of 50k. We may have to rally together tomorrow as a community to plan out a strategy to get to 50k.

This is a mission where you will fall in love with a Classic Magneto.

Ran with C Mags at 87, Spidey 141 and Punisher at 64. Took a while, but not bad.

That's what i'm thinking might have to be the plan too. The top spot should've gone up probably about 1 or 2k more vs. where it's at now. So hopefully the Europeans and people who play in the wee hours of the US morning can bump it up. I'm just hoping I can stick around in the top 1500. Rubberbanding really messed me up in the Punisher event, and i ended up being about 50 ranks short of getting the cards, which really made me sad considering how often i was in the top 15.
  • Beat this one before the AI took their first turn with 120 Mags, 75 Wolvie, and 18 Punisher, and a lot of luck lol.
+3 all, +3 blue/purple, +3 red/yellow. Got a starting board loaded with blue, used Feral Strike and then had a field day with Mags blue causing all sorts of cascades and crits. When the board ran out of blue to spam, used Mags red to shake things up and got into more cascades/crits. About 30 uses of Magnetic Field and Feral Strike later, and voila, dead Dark Avengers icon_e_smile.gif

Granted if my board wasn't full of blue to start, I'd have been squished in no time lol.

Yeah, that's a lucky board if I've ever heard of one, haha.
