Can we give D3 some props?

  • What is actually good here is that we are all part of a changing environment. And there is nothing better in the world than to experience changes first hand. I mean I have always entered the games either later or not at all and never could keep up with others and missed most of new stuff coming my way because I was so far behind.

What is happening here now (excluding new people to the game because they are unaware of most of issues and or changes that have been done in the last year) is something exciting and worth the time to stick around. We are playing this game for so long and we have supported it by both positive and negative arguments throughout its course. Taking into consideration the nature of the game and the importance it has gotten it is ridiculous.

I don't think anyone thought it would go like this. It is the same like when you think it is not going to rain and you go out of your house without an umbrella thinking "It is not that far to my destination, nothing is going to happen" and suddenly midway you get a hailstorm. This is how D3 has felt about the game, but now they are trying to better it. And this is worth positive comments all the way. I mean to get to the results we might get some ups and downs, but it's totally worth it because we feel like we are taken into consideration now. I do not feel like D3 is blindly making changes for no reason.

And congrats to Hi-Fi too. I really like this guy!
  • Definitely excited about the prospect of being able to play the game on my own schedule and not be forced to play during very specific time frames in order to have a shot at any rewards. My social life thanks you, devs! Please keep PvE non-PvP competitive so we have the ability to go for our own progression rewards on our own schedule! Obv. more tokens and 3*s as progression rewards would be nice but I'm sure that blue hood will come around as a reward eventually icon_rolleyes.gif
  • I agree on the great re-balancing. I wish I was still in 2* land as Hawkeye is kind of scary now. The lack of sound effects when those purple countdowns hit zero is chilling. They just go off and your character is out. And 2* Daken now has some bite.

And Colossus is nice too. When he was announced, I felt like he would be more of a 3* Juggernaut and that's the last thing the game needs. He's got more strategy to him than I was expecting. He teams well and his black makes those high AP character powers more accessible.

I didn't find the Gauntlet interesting. It's basically equivalent to the prologue, minus a story. But not every inch of the game has to be for me. It offers an opportunity to take a break. And I probably finished top 5 in Real Steel because everyone was banging their head in the gauntlet. So there's that.
