I had to do some clean-up. For example, 9 people wanted "Rouge" -- I changed these votes to Rogue.

I posted for The Thing and Mr. Fantastic and I hope they actually do these. I find it funny that there are 2 Human Torches and 1 Sue, and a Dr. Doom yet the other 2 members are missing. On that note I hope they update Sue to make her worthy of the 4* title like they did with X-Force.

Either they were pushing him, or he was just popular, but he seemed to be fairly prominent in the early/mid 90s. So, people reading comics then are in their 30s-40s (or older) and are the ones playing and spending money on this game.

We have a 2*, 3*, and 4* Wolverine. We need a 1* with bone claws. Of course a bone claw Wolverine at 2* or 3* lv would be good too.

Personally (and I have a feeling I speak for a lot (most?) players) I don't care who the next new character is.
All I care about is their abilities and, to a lesser degree, their colours.

If their abilities are good, I'll want covers. If their abilities are mediocre or terrible, I'll probably seek out one or two covers (so I can use them in mandatory events), and leave it at that.

New popular Marvel characters are probably great to generate an initial buzz (e.g. Deadpool), but long-term their popularity will all come down to their abilities... http://www.d3pforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=16045

How often do you plan to update this? This is going to be fun. Well, I suppose that they are planning a storyline with the recent character releases and sounds to be more on X-Men. I guess Gambit's going to be next character to be released.... He is somehow connected to Iron Patriot when the latter apprehended him from stealing one of Iron Man's suits.

Yeah! I remembered to leave a vote for him, too. I mused on possible abilities for him long time ago.
Something like destroying 8 chosen/random tiles (octopus-themed) in every row/column, and also being strong against Spider-Man (not that it's needed now). He should have some mighty board manipulation, because genius intellect + tentacle arms = shenanigans. He could also use powerful bombs or other gadgets (but better and much more offensive than Beast's).

Yeah, I'd like him too. I'd vote but as a 'serious' grown up with a proper job I'm a little concerned that people I know will see my inner geek if I post on FB

16 of the top 20 are heroes rather than villains, which is interesting I guess.

My guess was Gambit for the teaser IceIX dropped a couple of weeks ago, and given his popularity in previous polls on here (along with Nightcrawler) I'd be amazed if he wasn't introduced in the next couple of months.
