Wrong version of the characters, it says "Dark Avengers" right in their name! Maybe someday we'll get a Mighty Avengers version of Sentry, until then enjoy your break icon_e_smile.gif

    Ahh.. Now, that explain things..
Too bad Mighty Avengers version of Sentry or Ares are unlikely since their costumes are same for both groups.

I'm more curious to know if there's a legit explanation as to why the versions of Wolverine that can fully heal aren't included...

Um because patch existed before he was an avenger and when he was specifically solo. And x-force wolverine is specifically x-force. It's hard to know all the marvel history and chronological events but that's exactly why. It's like if you had defenders beast he wouldn't be listed as an avenger either because he would be defenders beast.

    Obw isn't

Doubt Beast would ever want to be on the Avengers.

Considering he was one in the 80's I doubt you are correct.
._. I have no knowledge of the 80s. Just stuff from Civil War on up in terms of comics. Anything before then is exclusively Fantastic Four related.

Edit: Also, my statement was based on the current climate on Mutants and Human in the books. Beast hasn't been on an Avenger's team for a long while beforehand.

so claiming ignorance isn't a justification. You were still wrong. You can't bow out just because you don't know your history. That's like me saying MJ was spidey's first love because I didn't pay attention to spider man in the 70 ' s.

Also I believe beast was a member of secret avengers was he not? Didn't a vs x start with him affiliate d with the Avengers still like wolvie? Haven't read it in a long when I forget

Yep, it would be like claiming that Wolverine is not part of the Avengers because he wasn't with them in the movies. (And he will never be because Fox owns rights for x-men and most possibly won't give up on those)

Without reading any more than the first post because I'm in a hurry:

Are you crazy? This is the only time we get to play without having Sentry dominate everything.

Considering I own all of the books associated with AvX, I can assure you Beast was not. He was in the X-Men books but as far as the Secret Avengers, no.
Edit: Looked back into it. Was not very prominent from memory during AvX but he did head into space with Thor in order to capture the phoenix force before it headed to earth. Failed mission obviously but that's about as far as that book went with it once it passed then up. The tie-in only lasted 3 books. :/

I choose to kill time by matching tiny gems on a tiny screen for imaginary rewards. Sounds crazy to me. This was pretty much posted as a poke to the ribs of D3. The Dark Avengers version of Ares and Sentry were in fact Avengers. I don't really want more sentry bombing competitions, nor do I want to receive a boosted Sunder followed by Onslaught. After my post I weighed the pros and cons and still think they should have been included Ares inclusion would definitely have benefited developing rosters, enabling them to compete with some of the more veteran rosters. I thought that was one of the best parts of the ultra boosted events.

Beast was a member of Secret Avengers, in fact Steve Rogers was the one who chosed him.

Looked into it the other day. Skipped a good portion of the heroic age books but Beast left at issue #37. It's interesting because he was apparently in the book during AvX but he wasn't as prominent as the issues surrounding it from what I remember. Going to have to go read those on Marvel Unlimited. Not really a fan of Rememder's books but I'll soldier through it. Looking through the 2010-2012 books to what else he was up to at that point.

And some of us collected comics in the 80's and 90's but have not since then.

I was very suprised that Spidiey and Wolvie had become Avengers at some point.

But I clearly remember Beast having been an avenger. Heck, nearly every hero has been an Avenger at some time or another. though I guess Reservests do not count (I seem to recall Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman being Reservest members.)
