'Splainy? Okay! Right now when you open a token, the RNG pulls a cover with a single roll of the "dice". The chance of getting a cover are listed out, with no segregation but each time a cover is added, the squeeze gets more noticable for the 3 stars.
Instead, imagine it working this way: first roll, the rng picks 2, 3, or 4 star (at say a 75/20/5% chance). Second roll picks a character from the heroes of that star level. Third roll picks a cover colour.
It won't work forever, but it'll give them way more room to manouver.
That's functionally identical to the current system. The current issue is that with each new 3* release, the odds of getting a specific 3* cover are decreased so that the odds of getting a 3* stay constant overall, thus making it harder to find the covers you need. Introducing a new 3* in the system you proposed will still decrease the chance of finding any given 3* cover that you're looking for and will still hold the overall chance of a 3* constant. The only change is the behind the scenes math (and in fact that could be the way they currently have it coded anyway).
Kudos for constructive suggestions, though
Really? I'm just talking out my ample posterior then. I thought it was a single roll with them all lumped in together.

I think it's 2 rolls, one for rarity, another for cover. With 3 rolls you would see equal chances of 2 cover and 3 cover chars in the same rarity, but the 2 cover ones have lower odds so you can tell the 2nd roll goes straight to cover and not to character.dearbluey wrote:Spoit wrote:
