With the changes to both the colors and powers, any chance of a free 'reallocate your covers' pass?
No, we don't offer free respecs when changing abilities. We do offer increased sell prices for those that are completely unhappy with the new version of the character however.

You should revise this policy. It's basically pissing on our hard work to level that character up, and it doesn't cost you much, if at all. Thanks.

Eh it was worth a shot. Thanks for the quick response

Not impressed. Are we supposed to be excited for the crippling of Magneto?

Game remains stale as a rice cake (see walkyourpaths exit thread).

I actually quite like a good rice cake. icon_e_sad.gif

Shall we get the opportunity to get covers from the buffed/nerfed characters in the near future ?

Any special event to get the new Daken** covers or it will be random drop as other 2* characters ?

We'll likely be featuring the changed characters as prizes more often for a while, yes.

There are so many changes at once, it's hard to tell if they are good or bad.

We should wait a few days and see if it is any good. Cmag seems so different, it's hard to have an opinion.

X-Force looks much better, I will be able to use him at last.

One very important thing IceIx : you most probably know patchneto was our only possibility to kill lvl 300+ enemies in PvPs. If patchneto is no longer the solution (edit), you should seriously think about capping scaling in PvEs.

The changes to cMags are a shame. I'm not sure whether the end goal is for all characters to be equally good, or equally bad, because it seems to be a case that characters are getting nerfed more effectively than they're getting buffed.
I only have two max rank 166 characters, Hulk and cMags and they complimented each other with a third. When changes like this come around it really does have a negative effect.
  • Btw Ice-X is the max level of Surgical Strike correct??
Cuz the diferrence from lvl 5 to max level is only 5
Surgical Strike - Black 11 AP
Wolverine attacks with ruthless precision, crippling his enemy's ability to retaliate. Destroys every tile in the enemy team's strongest color, dealing 32 damage per tile. Does not generate AP.
    Level Upgrades
Level 2: Deals 87 damage per tile.
Level 3: Deals 137 damage per tile.
Level 4: Also reduces enemy AP in their strongest color by 10.
Level 5: Deals 265 damage per tile. Destroyed tiles now generate AP.
Max Level: 270 damage per tile
  • So, Hawkeye Modern just plain sucks now, is that it? He seemed good the way he was before, were people really complaining that he was OP???

On the contrary, people were complaining that he was far too weak, and this change makes him much better

Really? How exactly does this make him better - that you have to get a 5 match to do some real damage? That he is no longer tanked by everybody? That all Blue does is a weak stun and random AP loss for the enemy? I loved his blue before, and they even nerfed his red.

From what I understand about PVE scaling, this issue should largely fix itself after the CMags nerf.

The big change is that you can pick what tile (of that color) to place his tile on - the previous version was primarily hated because you'd use all your AP for one of his moves and 90% of the time it would get matched before the ability went off, now you can put it somewhere that doesn't get matched, which makes him hugely more useful.

The damage trade-off for his red might be useful then, but blue simply sucks now, even with the ability to choose the tile.

Yeah, In my opinion his red got better, his purple got a LOT better, and his blue was kind of useless before, and now it's still kind of useless in a different way - It's much more likely to go off but has a much less significant effect

His old blue was most definitely NOT useless. It dealt a lot of damage, for a 2* power, and had a 4 turn stun. I used it a lot in previous Balance of Power and 1-2-3 star events paired with Patch to take out max level Hulks with little risk. And the purple was good for hiding behind tanks.

Now the purple is useless, unless you know some tricks of getting lots of 5 matches without mMags and GSBW.

Might be reading way too much into this, but could the 3* be Rocket Raccoon? Yeah, he's turns out to be a really good guy, but to mention specifically that he has a good heart, really..... Kinda like the obligatory movie tie in where he needed a good leg, really...... and then a good eye, really.... Is it IceIX just being punny about Rocket's love for really needing body parts for laughs? Nah, probably overthinking it.... Back to lurking!
  • For Hawkeye they must have decided the '25% chance this ability survives long enough to do something crazy' was a bad design and I think that's the right decision. His red/blue all got a bit weaker but half of the time you used them they're just immediately gone the next turn so it doesn't really matter if Blast Arrow/Electric Arrow all did pretty crazy damage for 2* tier because you never saw it fire. Note that he also got more HP so he's meant to do more stable damage as opposed to a guy that dies right away and if you get really lucky you get some crazy damage going.
