    Leader in my bracket just now went into 4 digits, which seems oddly low key for the last day. I'm still getting pick off left and right by 166's, but I'm pretty used to that by now.

    Who do y'all run in this tourney?

    My DD is 188 so hes tanking for mostly everything it seems. Running BP/Thor primarily. If I see a forumite, then I'll switch it up to Hood/OBW just for kicks. Or if I see a 40+ point node then its the boosted Sentry/Daken.

    Xmen is now hiring for the position of Worldrunners alarm clock coordinator. There is no pay but you will ensure that I don't pass out again and lose 1400 pts (this time) overnight. You can also help me question my life decisions when I have to hit 2k twice in the same pvp.

    I need a top five for this one to max cover my Birdguy the right way but I'm busy in the last 30 minutes of this one so no last gasp charge. Sad Panda time.

    I guess 4/5/4 is liveable.

    Heh, that job is definitely not for me -- I have enough trouble managing my own play schedule. I do hope I didn't hit you while you were climbing. I waited about an hour after queuing you but then you popped right back up in a node. So sorry if I did -- I do usually try to avoid forumers.

    This pvp is more entertaining than most of them. Ive fun with putting traps and then thinking bout matches that will increase the chance AI trigger them. Its irony how hero who is pretty bad tbh is giving me more fun than standard, boring op heroes.

    Heh. The whole sequence was:
    1. Take picture with phone.
    2. Post in LINE through phone.
    3. In LINE on PC right click save picture.
    4. Upload to imgur.
    5. Post here.

    The lengths I go to in order to avoid opening paint and cropping a screen cap off multi monitors.

    I went for a fairly easy team worth 35pts, so as I have a low score still and wanted to get a few matches in using different combos, I started off with Lcap (lvl 93) and mostorm (also lvl 93) and DD (buffed 140). That combo is ok, but slow. Fighting thor 94/hulk 114/loaner DD. Not too worried about hulk, since by the time he's to go down I should have plenty of shields to fling, right?

    insert cascade of doom, killing my DD outright at about match 4. Ouch, I'm annoyed, but maybe recoverable. matching a lot of yellow to keep it away from that team, as well as green, but getting beat up and close to powers. obw and lcap both about 1/2 health, but getting close to some shield tosses. Notice one more match will give me sentinel of liberty. Sweet, a reprieve! match the yellow, noticing enemy thor at about half health, no one else scratched. Phew... this is going to be tough. Cast sentinel of liberty, make a match and... Trickery teamup. /retreat /sigh

    darn you rng, you were a cruel mistress. I expect I will pay more attention to teamups again. I got super lazy about even looking when they switched it to 1 per match.

    So several people are at 2400+. How do you get that high? I get that you can shieldhop for 50 a pop from 800 to 1300 or higher. But those points are coming from somewhere. The first guy doesn't have anybody to shieldhop off of so he is playing 18 point matches and waiting for people to catch up and then does that again?

    I'm assuming both guys are Shieldhopping off of each other but getting that high first they really are playing 3 18 point matches per hop?

    @squirrel: Why use 93 3 Stars? Aren't they worse than 94 2 Stars?

    Not several. There's 3 including myself, Pr (X2), and Shamsali from venoms. Props to Sham to doing it without having the knowledge of when high pt qs are available. That's just CRAZY. I shield hopped exclusively with PR from 2100 or so on basically. I may have hit a random other person occasionally but not really.

    The scoring was ultra high in this PvP but I believe you will be seeing that come to an end. Will be best for the community and we all spend less time and money on the game and still have essentially the same experience. More about that later...

    I managed to gain a handful of points overnight (two wins and two losses) so I thought top 10 is doable, top 5 a stretch and top 25 pretty much a lock.

    Cue the single worst run of luck I've had for months icon_e_sad.gif

    I either got utterly destroyed by cascades (3 Molotovs in a row isn't fun!) or managed to set off traps at extremely inopportune times. The worst was probably pulling the trigger on Patchneto and hitting a Radar Sense trap on the first Mag Field so now I've got a whole bunch of high strength strike tiles out and no AP left.... cascading and stunning Patch for four turns was just the icing on the cake.

    So I've gone from 620 and in a good place to push for decent rewards to 450 odd and a massive uphill struggle to get more than one Falcon.
