  • Environmentals are great, if they're the lab or jungle. Or at least, until crits stopped multiplying them like crazy. icon_cry.gif
  • Fixed it for you. If nobody is buffed and my only match is environmental, I'd rather skip my turn.

I don't know... the occasional Forest Fire is rather fun. ^.^ Thorned Rose can turn tables too. Though it doesn't heal for squat, I also don't mind a hot dog every now and then. =d

Forest fires and Thorned Rose are fun. But with a non-buffed character it is almost imposible to get. I matched 5 env tiles in a "No Holds Barred" round which caused a cascade resulting in another 5 env tile match. I ended up with 30 env ap. 20 shy of Thorned Rose. With a boosted character I love thorned rose (especially if I'm using said boosted character as a meat shield) but with the ciritcal nerf forest fire is unrealistic as a regular option. I wish they would increase the base value of environment tiles for all characters.

What is this nerf everyone speaks of? I don't check the boards for a couple of days and everyone is talking about the crit tile nerf. What happened?

    I think they're talking about
    - An icon now displays instead of a numerical value when a character is buffed
from R44. With that change, they can increase whichever stats they want instead of giving an equal increase to every stat. The way they decided to exercise this new ability was by removing the buff to crit on all the Hunt's buffed characters.
  • Aaaand with the Venom nerf, black sucks even worse now. icon_e_sad.gif
  • I think a fairly good argument could be made for
    Pink > blue

Spidey blue and spidey pink r both pretty high quality defense skills.
    Magneto pink > magneto blue
Lm40 blue just takes way too long.
Storm c blue would beat out BW GS pink by a bit

I think blue vs green vs pink is all very close.

Yellow is fine where it's at.

Not finding much black besides doom that I ever use.
  • 1) It's purple, not pink. I agree, the gems look pink. But the covers are definitively purple.
    2) Mags purple being better than his blue is debatable. Yes, purple is high damage. Blue is self-refilling and generates crits easily. Oh, and the purple relies on blue tiles to be on the board.
    3) Modern Black Widow blue is stupidly good. So is C Storm blue. Spidey blue. Captain America's blue. Modern Hawkeye's blue. (For those characters it's their best power). Seeing a trend yet?

As for black, I agree with the placement, but M Storm and Punisher both use it to good effect. Original Widow's black may be nice -- I just pulled my first cover for it yesterday, so I don't know yet. But it's certainly the least used (even if not the rarest; as I recall yellow wins that).
  • Yellow and black are even. They each have 2 passive and 7 active I believe. However, a good amount of the black skills are used by 1* characters. Also, Venom was nerfed.

Spiderman's blue is better than his purple. The purple was really good before the nerf. Now, it's good, but not as good as his blue. Overall, however, I think purple can give blue a run for its money. Mag C, the aggressive recon's, and even the 2* passive powers are all cool and useful. Hawkeye's purple was just reworked to make it useful too. But blue has more than just stuns. Mag C, the Hood, and Doom each have unique blue abilities. Blue still beats out purple. But it's kinda close.
