  • Ties are for the weak-willed. Take a stand. Purple abilities are more fun than green abilities, Purple FTW icon_e_smile.gif

My original rank had purple ahead of green but i didn't want to offend the greenies. They're scary.
  • Purple.

    Green.

    PURPLE.

    GREEN!
  • Green abilities just blow up tiles, deal damage, and occasionally make strike tiles. That's it. Ever.
Purple abilities do crazy stuff like random swaps, tile creation, weird passives, in ur base stealing ur AP... Also tastes great and is less filling. The choice is clear.

You no like green? HULK SMASH!
  • Red definitely #1, Env Tiles definitely last except if a character has decent buffs (although black is pretty useless and is a close runner up). As for the rest i think it depends on what tier of character you have access to. The better ** Characters I think tend to have better yellow and greens (Thor, Wolverine) while the better *** characters tend to have better blues and purples (Spidey, Widow, Magneto, Loki [ha, kidding]). That's my 2 cents
  • Purple for me usually means more technique oriented, vs the brute force of Red/Yellow. Blue is stun, and thus usefull as all hell. Depending on the character, black is useless or the key to victory (see Doom). Green is... well... I love GW's sniper rifle, but after that green tends to be the least prioritized color for me.

Purple tho, that is where the fun is for me.

Fixed it for you. If nobody is buffed and my only match is environmental, I'd rather skip my turn.
  • I agree with DumDumDugn, except I think I might put green in front of purple, or purple in front of green... I don't know.

When environment tiles are buffed, those are #1.

C.storm with blue wind storm does crazy damage. At 85 does combined 5000 damage with 4 turn stun for 11 blue. I'd say that rivals ragnarok red thunderclap.

Bullseye with difficult to set up black murderous aim. 16 black to deal 7300 damage at level 69, plus whatever you deal from critical damage. If you line up crit tiles just right you can take out 2 strong foes.

    If you mean usefulness...
I think purple is the most diverse. Got stun, steal, damage, add color tiles, protect tiles, strike tiles, swap tiles,

Venom's black can instakill a whole team!!!! (If this, and if that, and if this other thing, and if this...)
  • Sounds about right. Red=damage. Blue=stun. Green=attack tile make or tile destroy. Purple=defense tile make or tile swap. Yellow is team help moves (thor is an outlier both with his green and his yellow...I think he is special in that he is built to combo specifically into himself and thusly is nit part of the general mix). Black = "weird moves"/attack tiles. Environment is straightforward.

With boosts environment tiles can be #1 though. Yellow hasn't had enough yellow moves available to really shine, but they are generally all useful...just not damage based. Spidey wouldn't be spidey without his yellow for example.

Given all that, a black yellow purple character sounds like it might be the most interesting character, but would be a back line character. Maybe iron fist? A yellow that does damage and heals, a black that makes an attack tile that messes with the board every few turns, and a purple that changes something on the board into yellows?

    That too

Either that, or a guy who sits in the back line and makes free strike tiles whenever someone matches green with an *awesome* animation that never gets old or annoying icon_e_wink.gif
  • DumDumDugan, I'm tired of you popping up in my match list. I skip you every time now because you just immediately kill me back and your team is OP. Pat yourself on the back.

    Are you the venom/spidey/magneto guy
  • Nope, I use Thor/Black Widow/Iron Man 40. I could fight you to show you who I am, but then I'd probably die at least once.
  • Welcome to the forums. The great thing about these forums is that there are actually quite a few people here that don't attack other forum goers.
  • Yea I'll leave you alone if i remember your username. There's enough targets out there. Unless it's a lightning round and you're the only person that can give me points.
  • Haha, thanks guys. It seems like there are upsides and downsides to the fact that you can't talk in-game to your opponents.
