D3P Devs: Why have you not announced the boosts nerf?
Title says it all.
You keep lying about wanting to be more upfront, and yet again you sneak in a hidden update without telling anyone.
Boosts no longer drop from PVP fights. I haven´t had a single boost drop in over a week.
Where is the News and Announcements about such a significant change? I guess the same place you put the announcement when you switched the +3 All AP boost to 100 HP.
Stop being full of **** and pretending you´re now about transparency.

I haven't seen them from PvE either, not counting the critical boosts that are often part of the 4 random rewards for winning on easier nodes.0

I am thinking it may have been a bug introduced with teamups.0

Maybe it was never intended to be nerfed, and is just an oversight/bug from the release of team-ups.
tl;dr - Calm down.0 -

Week without realizing this? Week without making hotfix so we could delete **** TUs? Another patch without testing by QA (do they even have QA?)?
Yep, calm down and upvote every of D3/Demiurge post so they could see how awesome work theyre doing...0 -

why are you acting like they're a super competent development team? Have you not noticed the egregious battleplan bug yet that shouldn't have been an issue for anyone that passed 7th grade math? Inequalities are easy.
There's a major lack of forethought. You should know the drill by now. If it really bothers you that much, just stop playing for a while. It's a video game. There are better ones. Play those instead.
get a 3DS or a Vita like a big boy. Smash comes out in two months; you should have one by now anyway.
Unless you're some weird **** commie who doesn't plan on playing smash.0 -
The main problem with MPQ is that this game evolves constantly. It's not like a video game you buy and play. Not like "I don't like it anymore, will resell it and buy something else".
For those who have invested more money than a usual video game, it is troublesome.
"Stop playing if you don't like it" is not the answer to the problems that are arisen...0 -
I believe you are referencing the sunk cost fallacy, that because you have invested so much already, you feel you MUST keep investing. Which is decidedly untrue. It is possible to stop if a match 3 game is causing your blood pressure to go up or you are not enjoying it anymore no matter how much time and money you have put into it. It is even possible to not let the little things get to you and as the guy above stated 'calm down' thus letting yourself actually enjoy this thing you are so invested in.
As the players we can bring problems, concerns, issues, bugs, likes, dislikes, wishlists, questions, ideas, suggestions, gripes, and rants to the forum but we cannot actually change the game ourselves, and if you have no faith in the dev team is actually working on any of the problems and that will cause you to be upset with the game constantly, then yes maybe stopping is the answer.0 -
As a random drop, have not had a single one since TU's started. Does not include the bonus AP as progression and crit boost in the multiple post game options.0

Sorry for the bad news, but i got 2 today. Maybe they did get nerfed and i just got lucky0
-
I've gotten a few, but it seems like the chance got scaled back a LOT.
As in it's probably a 2 to 3% chance or so now? Something like that.0 -
I'm certain that I've gotten a few - it doesn't seem like any less than I got before.0
-
Aye, they do drop but at a much, much lower rate. I now treat my boosts like gold-dust and don't use them unless it's for a critical shield hop at the end of a tournament.0
-
I've not received a single boost since the update, only those that come from progression rewards. Only those blasted team-ups that I don''t like and don't use. I've not played LRs lately though, maybe they're being handed out there.
They could make it so that you could opt between a TU and a boost at the end of the battle. Not that many people would go for the TU. Boosts are much more effective, especially on those hard nodes.0 -

Had the chance to play most of the seed teams for a lot of the LR's in the recent hours. Not a single one. Every round though, the stupid note about how if I had space...
Meanwhile the AI usually gets off at least one or two of them, I battle for enough stupid AP for even one, so I never bother.0 -

I still like the game very much, I don't like the way I am being treated as a customer. And as such, I will always voice my opinion out.0 -
I appreciate that, your opinion is quite welcome, it is Jozier's blood pressure I am most worried about and there are a few others around here who seem way too high strung for me to believe they are enjoying their time with MPQ. For everyone still enjoying themselves, game on.0

I've definitely been watching and I haven't received a single boost since this poorly thought out Team Up function was put in.
I want my boosts back!! Put the same drop percentages that we had before!! pretty please!0 -

Get used to it.
I mentioned this on the unannounced changes thread, but I believe we are witnessing the slow phase-out of boosts in favor of team-ups. If new players aren't receiving boost drops, then they can't unlock ISO boosts. All they can see are the rainbow boosts for HP. New players are already been trained for the future.
I think that once the immediate bugs are worked out of Team-Ups to the devs' satisfaction (not ours), expect all ISO-costing boosts to be retired, probably by R60. Players won't use team-ups as long as boosts are easily available and are more convenient to use then Team-ups. Thus, the solution to force Team-up adoption is to make boost acquisition very inconvenient. This is easily achievable by making boosting only possible via HP purchasing.
This will also indirectly addresses the Sentry-bombing issue. Unless a player is willing to spend for a rainbow stockpile on every Sentry-bombing, that's three green and yellow matches every fight, which as anyone will tell a player is a looooooooooong time for something "bad" to happen, especially with a bad board (and that doesn't even count Hood black matches).
TL;DR - Boosts are becoming P2W tools, Team-Ups will be the new boosts for everyone else.0 -

This may be caused by continuous deceptive announcements/decisions/changes to the game.
The game is very addictive. It has to lead to excessive behaviour. That's what D3P is aiming at.
I myself can be excessive when it comes to express my anger.
It's good sometimes to relieve the stress that way.0
