    Each PVP event is 2.5 days. You didn't play a single match before the last hour? You had plenty of time to have played a single match.

    I'm sure everyone has their own reasons for playing the way they do, but waiting til the last hour to start pvp is probably not the way to go. You can probably easily sit at 100-200 pts even with a mediocre roster/team. Even if you take a couple of hits it'll only knock your mmr down and you'll have an easier time pushing to your final score.

    Actually, yes people do. One of my alliance mates always joins in the last hour, since even though he's sharded higher, there still isn't that much time for the points to get out of hand, so the 900 he's able to do easily in just an hour is enough for a comfortable top 5 finish, instead of likely not even being in the top 10.

    (And we ended up just outside of the top 100 this tourney because of it, 108 iirc. The last time we didn't finish top 100 was when there was extreme burnout with the loki/rags covers everyone already had in season 1)

    This translates as "Have 750 to 1500 Iso"

    I'm sure there are people who lost a 10-pack at the end of the season because of this.

    Maybe if they didn't have so many events going on all at once, and maybe if each PvP event wasn't tantamount to performing well for the season, their hamsters might get a bit of a break.

    So when should we expect the token to make up for the server crash ?

    24 hrs from ...the 4th as in before the 6th correct? I never got one ..I did both pvp and pve as always and am just wondering if I missed so etching or if I should just be patient ?

    Not trying to complain or start any problems .

    It's not rocket science. If someone was playing up until midnight on the PvE, and their PvP score was far lower than there season average, it doesn't take much of a leap of faith to realize that person got totally **** by the outage.

    Nice that they recognize it caused problems, but this is sort of a "shut up and go away" rewards. It doesn't help anyone to pull a 6th yellow Hood who was really trying for the blue or black, for instance.

    I really liked the idea here:

    Just bump your reward structures each about +10% when servers go down. Anyone who was close to any specific level can't complain at that point, and you don't have to divvy out tokens to everyone who already made it or was never going to make it.

    Also, it was stated the most people ever were playing at once? Maybe take that number and put in more servers based on it?

    Ditto on this. Our alliance pushed to place T100 on Deadpool, and many were online to finish the push for the PVP. We ended #107: none of us had the chance to do the last hour push on the PVP as the servers crashed. Many of us were online, many were ready for the push, and we were not afforded the opportunity. We've done this almost every time, we ended in top 100 every PVP this season.

    To extend rewards out a bit (see above reference) would calm all the folks that were in the similar situation. Won't help for your season-ending results though. Extending the event is probably what should have gone down, extending the rewards would be a good late step.

    Lol you're being wildly optimistic with 3 3 star covers from 3 2 star cover packs. Personally I was more affected by the lost hour on the Thor event than the minute lost in deadpool it would be nice if I get to chose not to have deadpool compensation but have more hood compensation

    Yea, I had just sold the other two hood covers I didn't need right before posting here. Wasn't optomistic(quite the opposite), was just having a brainfart on the exchange rate on 2*s.

    I'd prefer to see either a random end time or a decreasing scale in the final couple of hours. That would alleviate the last second pushes.

    The tokens are the compensation. Thick as Thieves will have Deadpool required essential nodes, and therefore will have Deadpool in the event tokens and packs.

    I just wanna say thanks. This is an example of better customer service practices and it makes me very pleased to see.

    I got a ***patch red and then a **daken and **mags. I think the event specific tokens are a good way of saying thanks/sorry/etc. So I'm happy. I didn't get the Hood cover that I needed, but that's life.

    I appreciate the compensation, considering that nobody really lost anything from the pve event going down...

    But was anyone else having connection issues hours before the crash? I couldnt log in for four of the five last hours of the even and ended up a soul crushing 7th, 200 points from 5th - and had been in first before the problem started.
