    Hi all.

    To the forum moderators:

    A suggestion to make life easier for future forum registrants: Why not add this instruction to the automated message that is send to a user once he registers successfully? Just add "You can post in the "introduce yourself" thread in Off-Topic to get your account approved. You will then be able to post a new topic" to the message.

    I was mightily confused that, after being accepted to the forum, I could only reply to posts, but not create a new post to ask my question. The off-topic forum would have been the last place I would have thought to look.
