Take a look at the names revealed to be part of this retooled Avengers lineup: Medusa, Scarlet Witch, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, The Winter Soldier, Angela, Thor, Captain America, Inferno and Deathlok are the members of the new team.

Nowhere anywhere, in this or any other article about this, does it officially say that this is the new Avengers team or that any comic called Avengers NOW is starting in November. That is complete speculation on the public's part. This is almost certainly just another NOW promo image with a collection of characters that are about to get new books/relaunches or are about to have the spotlight put on them, you know, just like every single other time they have done this.

Marvel is not going to backstab one of the largest formal Hollywood news outlets there is. This is what is called an authorized "teaser", while still under NDA. Marvel is likely saving the "formal" announcement for San Diego Comic Con next weekend. EW likely paid Marvel big bucks to break the news and soft-reveal Superior Iron Man, as Hollywood outlets tend to do quite often. Patience. You'll get your first-party authorization next weekend, assuming someone doesn't pay Marvel for the rights to "formally" announce this sooner. -- A quick Google search this morning reveals even more outlets running with the story now (because EW is considered credible with this type of news), and even more pictures of Superior Iron Man have appeared. There may not be much left to reveal by the convention next weekend, at this rate.
