Great, wanted to drop below 25 to get a token, so i stopped playing about 10 mins before the round ended while being #22, placed top 25 and got a loki

If you look at the ranks during Loki tournement you'll see that 25-80 is only a difference of about 4-6 points. Veery easy to miss out or get too high with a last sec win. I ended up missing the diabolical too, got a yellow ironman 40 I needed so it wasn't a total loss. Now, hopefully everyone falls asleep before this mag tournement so I can grab first lol

Ugh...I ran out of heals and had to use a Lvl 20 c.storm near the end (few really unlucky thor cascades in earlier matches). Ended up getting attacked heavily in the last 10 min. dropped from around #6 to #26. If it dropped below 50 in the last 30 sec ill ne sad lol. Even then I'd rather have a purple mag than basically any other one.

Sooo..should oi just Lvl that c.storm up? I've refused to use her up until now...

Yes.

And I'm sorry others are feeling my pain over Loki. Mine's now up to 4/4 -- with most of the covers coming from Diabolical tokens.

Again, I'll drop 2500 HP on a guaranteed red Rag cover. And then more HP on leveling it up. But not a single ISO on a freaking token.

Which time? Man and I got bumped from top two at the last second apparently. 588 not enough for top two. Oh well, I got my last blue, and I will get reds when I get them. I'm not going to try getting them this way and keep other people from making top 8.

I very surprisingly got top 2. I attacked DumDumDugn with about 5 minutes to spare and figured you'd have enough time to retaliate to take me out, but it never arrived...

You did? Dammit all! After you attacked me, I saved you to retaliate against last second, but I checked the list several times and never saw you, so I thought you were farting around. Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahaha! I might have maintained top 2 if I had, LOL. No harm. While a red would have been great (5/1/5 now) I'm thrilled to get the last blue.

I'll admit, I tanked my rating in the beginning of this lightning round. I don't think I was ever attacked this round (maybe once?), since I only faced mainly Thor+CStorm teams up until about 450ish points (though I had a retaliation from you from when I tanked earlier). After 450ish, I started finding the top players in my queue, which let me take a couple people down and give me a bunch of points during the last couple minutes.

Interesting you mention that. I don't remember ever seeing a round like this, where I started out fighting Thor/storms, then by the end was seeing lots of villains. Have you? It feels like something changed with the matchmaking, but IceIX said just yesterday that nothing has changed. It feels like it is adapting mid round, which I never noticed before.

Anyone else notice anything different, or has it always been this way and I'm obtuse?

I've noticed matchmaking is snapping its results much more closely to my ranking now.
