I thought the devs did this on purpose. Purposely ambiguous. I'm sure they could figure something out if they wanted (including something like your idea).

Sometimes, when they do make 2+ goons different levels, I thought that was the devs cutting some slack to players who care to look.

But who knows, maybe all the players saw this obvious oversight that Demiurge hasn't since the game launched.
Well to be fair, it took like half a year for DU_will to actually realize that mid-air crit matches were happening

What I'm more annoyed about when it comes to countdowns is that they can count down more than once per turn if the situation is right. It's a little tough to explain, but the game seems to count down by starting at the top left corner and working its way to the right. When it reaches the end of the row, it goes to the furthest left tile on the next row and continues to the right again.

Now, say a countdown goes off and destroys tiles. If a countdown tile somewhere above it (i.e. one that's already been ticked down once that turn) manages to fall somewhere further down the line from where that countdown went off, the game counts it off again.

Does that make sense to you guys? It's frustrating as hell because I see it happen more often than you'd think. I remember someone posting about it months ago, but nothing's been changed about it.
