Not to defend her cause she's been spouting quite a few bits of nonsense, but if my wife (who was previously my girlfriend, natch) decided to create an account and post on these forums she would probably have the same IP address as me as well since we live together and tend to use the same computer. Not that this proves she's real or anything, but just that it's a pretty slim argument to make.0

Let's say I believe u and they are not using any 3rd party program to cheat.
but do u know that some developers consider using game bug to gain advantage over others is equal to cheating.
And points u guys put up there looks really suspicious.

Yes, I have my B. Sc. Hon. with majors in Biology and Geology. I am in no capacity a biologist or a geologist.
(also, notice how respectable my spelling and grammar are? I expect about this grade from a professional in a field known for paperwork, documentation, and records.)
That aside, I suppose I applaud the X Men request for a formal audit of the players and mechanics. But I don't expect much to be turned up. I think this sort of thing would have to be done with extensive time and efforts on both the parts of the players involved and of those investigating to the point of being beyond tedious, time-consuming, and unbearable.
Furthermore, to the Dev staff, let me put this simply:
I don't care that this is coming to light during the weekend. The fact that that then means we won't hear news or action until Monday (indeed; if any AT ALL occurs) is nothing short of offensive, negligent, and borderline incompetent. The latter two in that previous statement, I remind you, are grounds for termination at most occupations.
TL;DR: Devs will look at X-Men, probably not be able to prove or disprove anything is happening, twiddle their thumbs, "working as intended", etc.0 -

I in no way want to defend a blatantly obvious alt account with this, but as someone who has done translation and text correction jobs for law firms on a regular basis until I found clients who didn't bore me to tears, I have to say that, sadly, this is by no means a rare thing. I've seen official correspondence between repected lawyers that made me weep for humanity.
People like yourself who actually put some effort into the language they use are unfortunately the exception outside of linguistic fields, not the norm. No matter how well-educated they are otherwise.0 -
I...am not sure why there really is an argument in this thread. Liar or not,the OP's post is about asking the devs to take a look at thier alliance. Maybe its part of an elaborate facade as they know d3 cannot stop the cheating, or maybe its as simple as it sounds...that someone doesn't like the ish thrown at the group they identify with and would like the cancer removed from that group so they themselves don't look bad.
While by all accounts (haven't been on game in a week due to phone issues) it sounds like there are at worst cheaters and at best exploiters involved here, I don't see why anything should have been said here beyond "well, okay...I agree. Look into them." Everything else feels like off topic overflow from other threads.
@ Der lex. Ppl give docs and lawyers too much credit. For every good one there are 10 bad ones. More importantly, written correspondence isn't really thier forte a lot of the time and in no way is indicative of thier abilities at thier job. One of the best lawyers I know/met had the most .chickenkitty handwriting I had ever seen and needed a paid editor to write a birthday card.... we are talking children's book backwards E bad. The dude could talk you into a coma though ....as long as he had a bunch of time to prep. Which is also to.indicate that just because someone is a good court lawyer, Doesnt mean they would be worth a damn in split second decision making. Digressing, basically I agree. On top of that, ppl don't care how they type on a forum. It's not like I am going to proofread what I write here....so I don't expect others to either (grammar/spelling-wise).
That's not to say the person here isn't full it (I won't pretend.to have any idea either way) I just don't care one way or the other because the cheating is the issue here, and the OPs first post, asking for devs to take a look, effectively is the only info I need from this thread.
Side note: given what I have heard of naz, I don't find the idea of him asking his gf to create an account right after being banned and then asking her to puppet for him that outside the realm of possibility...and if they did live together, ip wouldn't help much most likely.
That said, I don't know if its above or below 1/1000000000000 ...but the number of men that have accidentally upgraded a gf to a wife in a rather "not accidental or omg idiot" manner has to be pretty low. So I do understand the sketch ppl feel here...I just am not sure why it matters in the context of this thread lol. I mean, only an idiot or a very gullible person would ever think they know much of anything about a 20 man team of mostly strangers..especially enough to know they are cheating...so I am not sure why ppl are even responding to that acertation. It's like Mr. Pink in reservoir dogs stating the only person they should suspect of being a rat is themselves. We all know she/he cannot know...so I don't see the point going on about it.
I guess in short, you guys are either feeding a troll or being pretty rude to someone who by all accounts hasn't done anything to warrant the lvl of aggression I am seeing beyond sticking up for someone, somewhat blindly, based on a filial relationship and maybe being a bit too trusting (albeit, with personal gain involved).
Don't expect another post here by me, this is more.than I.wanted to.bother saying. Everyone calm.down and enjoy.the weekend, and feel.bad for ppl who have to work it (or go to children's sporting events where their kid is horrible). Mpq should never be making.you angry. If it is, you probably should rethink your time use/spending habits. Frustrated, sure, but never willing to spit vitriol. (Getting all my thoughts on all these threads in one post I guess..lol) That said, nothing wrong with pointing things out to devs. Every once in a while improper channels are the proper channels as its too easy to be given the run around if you ONLY use the "proper channels."0 -

From what I can see, this can end in two ways:
1. The X-Men in question are cheating and are banned and will no longer be able to achieve 2k points
2. the X-Men in question are not cheating but rather "cheating" and D3 fixes the exploit that will prevent X-Men or any others from achieving 2k points.
Or possibly 3. Nothing happens and MPQ loses any integrity it had.
Imo, no matter the cause, it's not good for the game.0 -

Thank you. Im not here to work so the last thing im gonna do.is check my grammer or spelling. It a forum. Please. I could care less. This is a game used to play for fun. Im also not using a computer but on my phone. (Which sucks to type on) It really is pretty childish to continue to bash me when you dont know who I am. I am NOT Naz though. Uhh yeah Naz has the same ip as me. He comes over all the time and regularly plays at the same time with me on his phone, off my wifi. With that im so over justifying who I am to you guys.
As for the cheater thing. I would like to know who it was. I though they were supposed to get kicked. I want them out of the alliance and game just as bad as any of you. To be honest Im pissed. Obviously I sat here and defended my alliance. Im sure a few of you will have plenty to make fun of about either me personally or my post but Honestly I first came on here to say something positive in defense of the xmen. We are not all cheaters. Until I was just told otherwise by ice, I had no reason to believe anyone was. A lot of us put in hard work to get what we do. Like someone previously pointed out,I guess theres no way to really know if someone is cheating until thier caught. I want a clean alliance. I want whoever was cheating sandboxed. I joined this alliance to be the best. Your not the best if you cheated to get there. Plain and simple. Hopefully they will boot the person/people who were cheating and the flaming will stop against the rest of us Honest players.0 -
Ya know I hope an admin can send a message to all the players who have left the game in the past month so they can come and witness these threads. I'm loving the drama. RL though, my WIFE is a only a paralegal, but who puts in 10-12 hour days. No real lawyer has time to come onto a tinykitty forum to defend their bf/gf/spouse. I didnt see it posted before but

Only one thing that puzzles me. The amount of hp spent on shields you could just as easily spend it on covers. Not criticising but I just find it a difficult concept to understand that you only shot for top spot but end up gaining less then a lot of the other top 50 due to hp spend0
