Is it now more ISO effective to 2* farm WITHOUT champing?

This isn't a fully fleshed out idea yet, but some early math makes it seem it might be more ISO effective to not champ 2* anymore and instead roster them, add levels to 13, then sell.

63 covers in champ world you get:
16,100 ISO
250 HP
5 CP
3 3* covers
5 HTs
500 XP.
Plus another 65,000 ISO and 125 HP to sell at max.

And it costs you 69,530 ISO to level it.
So ISO is a small gain of 11,570

63 covers rostered, covered to 13, then sold gets you:
1,250 ISO
870 XP
and costs 0 ISO.

So which is better

11,570 ISO 375 HP, 5 CP, 3 3* covers, 5 HTs and 500 XP
or
1,250 ISO & 870 XP

Depends on how much the XP is worth.  At my current level (111).  870 XP is worth 10,934 ISO and 500 XP is worth 6,284 ISO.  So converting XP to ISO the comparison becomes:

17,854 ISO, 375 HP, 5 CP, 3 3* covers, & 5 HTs
vs 
12184 ISO

So championing (if my math is right) is still better, but not by as much as you think.  Only 5000 ISO plus the harder to quantify other rewards.  What this means people who don't like 2* champ farms due to their long time and management oversight might want to consider this option vs selling the covers outright.  Just a thought... and wanted someone to check my math and see if I missed anything.

    Do your calculations include the 5k iso to champ the 2*.

    Also....  You may be missing the XP that would be given for the 3* champ levels, which is 15 xp or 45 xp per 2* cycle.

    Harder to calculate is the downstream 4* (25 xp) value from the 3*s trading up to 4*s.

    I think keeping the 2* farm is even more lucrative if you still have undercovered/underlevel 3s.  Training a single 3* power is now worth 40 xp (and ultimately incentivizes farming those 3s ----  the long farm game.)

    The only reason I farm 2-stars is the HP.

    3-star covers, herioc tokens, and CP is a nice bonus, but I wouldn't farm just for those without the HP. Running a 2-star farm is an ISO deficit (without calculating upstream gains such as XP levels) but its worth it for the HP flow. Take that away, and your farming method may be one I'd consider.

    Covering, then selling is the worst option you have.

    You forgot to compare the two options to the "baseline": Outright selling the 63 2* covers yields 15750 iso

    But if you didn't bother with the farm, you'd just have that iso, instead of needing to sell someone to have it.

    Not unless you're iso:xp ratio is >16
    a 2 star cover direct sells for 250 iso

    The HP, CP and cover rewards make it worth it.

    You won't always be in ISO debt.

    Not to mention @Dormammu... I miss their commentary very much.

    I build up a two star to max 144 and sell them. Same with 3s. There is really no point to have fully covered 2s and 3s once you have 5 stars.

    Even with the loaner 3 in PVP i can still hit 900, so not really a big deal.
