Mysterio’s Trap Tile Bug?

I was playing the loaner node in Duck Be A Lady, and I think Mysterio’s “From Thin Air” might be bugged. The description states that the Trap tiles deal damage when matched or destroyed. I had three instances were the Trap tiles were destroyed, but did not deal damage. I had the tiles destroyed by Magneto’s “Magnetic Flux”, She-Hulk’s “Power of Attorney”, and the opposing Hitman’s “Covering Fire” skill. Each of these powers destroyed at least one of Mysterio’s Trap tiles, but there was no damage dealt. Is this a bug, or is this working as intended? If so, it feels contradictory given “From Thin Air”’s description.
