    I feel like they have really done a great job improving the lot of the casual player.  RT and the rotation of TG with updated rewards for TotP.  
    But coalition play is stuck in HoD.  Those events were seriously stale a year ago and are just painful now.  Hopefully they have finally fixed standard and other events will enter the coalition rotation.

    I
     really wondered why they didn't continue this minimum effort thing. After the first of its kind, there was never any fantasy used, just recycling.
    Even that would be better than nothing.

    They should make a coalition vs. coalition challenge event. 20vs20. Each coalition member Matched up randomly to an opposing coalition member.

    You've just described every walker-required PvP event Hibernium ever designed (and every PvP event if you don't have the fixed walker).

    This is exactly what I'm asking for.  Something simple as a new event just so we don't have to play the same exact event over and over and over and over and over.

    The random objectives each time would be really cool, too, although I doubt they can/will ever do that.

    Seriously: Is the company interested in player retention?  I'm not surprised that half of the coalition I'm in seems to have stopped playing over the past year.

    Maybe they read this thread and have taken a minute to change a byte's worth of programming here or there to implement some of the suggested changes. How hard can it be to put Angrath or Lilly 2 in the top node? I'd be so pleased with this tiny change I wouldn't even mind if they didn't change the objectives.
    I don't know how easy it would be to change the required planeswalkers, but Oktagon has already shown their willingness and ability to change the objectives in an event.

    @Brigby can you ask them if it would be possible to at least change up the objectives in the next run of HoD?
    At this point I don't care what, just give us something different.  Please.

    How about a simple version of duel decks, like say boros vs golgari.
    No need for extra content. The structure can stay the same as with ZvsE.
    Make color restrictions for each side as to which cards you can select...

    Very good idea - What I suggested a short time ago was that new planeswalkers can be demonstrated/advertised using this format (as ZvE itself is so biased towards the Eldrazi by the greater number and variety of cards allowed it so as to almost guarantee it a win).

    Something like Boros(white/red) v Golgari(green/black), which you suggested,  is another excellent idea.  To ensure fair matches, the entered planeswalker could be temporarily unlocked to level 60 for that event only - this will also give very new players an idea of what the level 3 Liliana they bought the other day will eventually be capable of.

    I'm fully behind this concept of Ravnica Duel Decks! (And any altered duel decks concept that isn't Zendikar-Eldrazi).
