S2 (the devs original plan before our complaints) to me seems like it overall would have had a more positive impact. The only benefit of the change implemented due to our complaints was it *seems* like a reward instead of a penalty, it is for the most part, but a lesser reward than the "100/200 -10" set seen in S2.
