Should 10 day seasons be the normal season?

Posted this in the "short season is miserable" thread but meant to post it here:

"Considering we could fit two of these short seasons within the same span of a current normal season, meaning doubling the season prizes for the exact same amount of time, why wouldn't we want to make the new shorter seasons the norm?"

Fascinating. Why would anyone object to:

    1) More rewards
    2) Easier placement
    3) More time to relax in between
    4) Less competition

    What the heck?

I like the short season. there's good and bad, but those wanting to take a break (or vacation or something) aren't screwed for a month. and season placement rewards more often is a big benefit. bad part is it increases the frequency of offseason event that are hard to hit top progression. with the cp split up though, I might prefer 2 short seasons per month over one long one. still can hit 900 easily enough in offseason. heck, 1200 might not be much different than in-season - we'll see.

With a Heroic going on at the start, I had plenty of time to get 800 in the first event and another 800 in SHIELD Simulator. The 2000 point cover in normal seasons has always ended up out of reach (sometimes just barely) after trudging through weeks of play time. Once I got around 1900, most teams worth anything had a Teen Jean (with the hidden passive "drop random match 5 for the player"), and of course, attacks against me wrecked the score as well. There were attainable goals, and I appreciated that. Having short seasons more often with attainable progress sounds like nothing but good.

If the new 10 day season stays the same as this one hell yes! So much less stressful and if I realized how close I was I would have gotten the final progression reward as well. I can understand if they do not want to do shortened seasons but it was a very nice change, I would be happy if they alternated lengths 10, 20, 10, 20.

I find the low rank achieved over a whole month of play really disheartening so try join the second event after season bracket sniping.

This time because it was only 10 days I just joined whenever and if I didn't rank poorly (ended up t100) then who cares it was only a short time investment. After going for a whole month and potentially ending up T250 (with cupcakes in the mix though I didn't coordinate on Line for them but the rising tide floated all boats) then it was too frustrating.

I like progression but I like seeing my rank being nudged up slightly higher too. 10 day season was a good compromise for me there.

I think they should have a season as often as they release a character, so the newest character can -always- be given out as the top season sim reward.

So if they want to release one character a month - 28 day seasons are fine.

But if they want to release two - please continue with 10 or 14 day seasons.

    ...yes?
Because it's still 400 per event, same as in a regular season.

I know math is not your strong suit, neither is reading comprehension, or choosing the right CL, but please, at least _try_ to think before you post.
    Sometimes.
