Any idea what happens if the enemy's strongest color is Red? Go to the second-strongest color? Is it random? Does it not work?

It looks like that, but you want to maximize the cascade potential for blue before the red tiles are destroyed, so maybe 4/5/4 can be a good build (or 5/4/4). There is not that much difference in both yellow and red from 4 to 5, just a little bit more damage, and this two extra tiles from 6 to 8 can be the difference from nothin to big cascade. At least you can also get a cascade when the tiles are destroyed. The bad thing about blue, or similar powers like sirgical strike, is that they are hard to recast for maximal effect. Blue maybe a little bit expensive. Red is crazy powerful if you use other team-IM, problem is that the other 5 that is team IM is SS

She would be great with him, feeding that big red blast with her purple.

TWT does 2769/AP, GG does 2814/AP and costs 1 AP less. Excellent, although it will limit your team choices if you want all the damage. The other Team IM 5*s are Phoenix and Surfer.Girl Friday is a massive board shake with decent damage. Since red is IM's main color, it will do big damage for every tile destroyed -- 655 at level 450. It will usually do over 1000/AP. Removing all of a single basic type is very good for cascades. Very good overall. Should go well with Phoenix for match-5s, but then you share red powers.House Party Protocol is his yellow CD power, a callback to IM40. It does decent damage if they can all stay on the board -- 2117/AP -- but this will likely be uncommon. It also avoids IM taking big damage -- but it doesn't avoid damage to his teammates. A mixed-benefits part is that as IM46 gains levels, the minimum damage he needs to take to avoid damage increases. The positive side is that the CD damage is always comparable to the damage you need to take, meaning the trade-off is balanced. Somewhat expensive at 12 AP. Good. IM46 has the highest health of any 5* by a small margin. His tile strengths are only outshone by OML and his crit multiplier is tied with Goblin as the best 5*. His red does big dumb damage, his blue is highly useful, and all of his powers do decent damage. Phoenix looks like his best companion, as another red generator who also benefits from IM's blue. Unfortunately, SS and IM46 share both of their two best colors. The plus side is that the Team IM 5* team (IM46/Phoenix/SS) is full spectrum. Rec build: 5/5/3
The Winning Team - 9 AP If we can’t work together, we’re no better than the bad guys. Iron Man deals 1632 damage to the target, plus an extra 707 damage for every Team Iron Man character on his team.
