SHIELD sim popularity

I started my shield sim yesterday by hitting about 7 juicy 70 to 75 point matches to get myself started. Without weekly boosted characters in the sim, I'm not scared of a single roster when I'm climbing. I'm going to hit 2,000 and then let myself drop back to about 1,500 before making my shielded push in the last three days.0

I'm hoping that you people get your 2000 within the next two days and keep busy with the 4* Deadpool event so I can my own run to 2000 in SHIELD Simulation.
Of course I'll be grinding the 4* Deadpool too, so double duty calls.0 -
I just try to get at least 100 points/day starting with day 1. That allows me to hit the mark before season's end & before retals really get going.puppychow wrote:If you're looking to get that 2,000 points cover, I strongly recommend you avoid trying to get it on the last few days of the season. Before that, you will rarely get retaliated while climbing. And even if you do, you can easily find high value targets (worth 50+) to resume your climb. But once the season end draws nearer and people start shielding, it will become harder to find high value targets and you will be retaliated against more often.
Thus, the latest I would start ShIELD is a week before season's end.0 -
Agree completely. Since rewards in Shield Sim are now worthwhile, I actually play it. Before it was just something I did when I was bored. Amazing how actually rewarding players that aren't newbs also makes them play "dead" modes again.Malcrof wrote:Dev's, take note.. everyone is loving the new shield sim AND with it being structured how it is.. we get our reward, then help others get theirs by allowing ourselves to be smacked down.. then mess around in it got iso rewards and to add more points for others to get to 2k...
this + ddq could keep you going for a while , more content like this pls!0 -
Now if only the season progression was addressed.
Since I can get half of the necessary points to get 4,000 in Shield Sim, it really only takes 3 events to get to the 4,000 point progression. In which case participation in PvP is entirely based on whether you've got the required boosted characters to make the "try" at 1,000 or 1,300.0 -
I only got up to almost 1300 and got hit for huge points. Dropped down to a little less than 1100 but now I'm in the last days of PvE.

I was on the edge of getting 2000 and I got attacked at least 10 times in a row to keep me from getting it. Extremely frustrating!0

This season's sim is more popular than last's. I hit 2000 with a few days left last season. Even though I've already been over 1800 today, I think it will be a couple days till I make it. Am needing health packs & trying not to shield.RTDBAG19 wrote:I was on the edge of getting 2000 and I got attacked at least 10 times in a row to keep me from getting it. Extremely frustrating!0
