It's a fun idea! But personally, I don't think a good counter to a problematic mechanic is a specific character. Unfortunately, in the PvP game, people obsess over "defensive" fights, in which their brilliant counter to Thor would be utterly useless (since Thor teams will just skip them). If the counters are too niche, then it becomes like playing paper/rock/scissors and then not being able to change your answer for the next 10 games. I really like Doc Ock and think the idea behind his character is fun and useful against characters like Blade (and goons), but he's universally hated, because he doesn't win enough fights in PvP against the average team.

As much as I love MPQ, it's biggest flaws are in its foundation.

EDIT: Again I really like the idea, so I hope the do make charged tiles balanced enough to be a common mechanic and that they come up with nice counters like this!
