    I love the Squirrel Girl and Star-Lord variants. Like Invisible Woman too. Miss the old Rocket & Groot and Fish Eye Spidey cover. Capt. Marvel - initially I thought meh, but the more I look at the cover, the more it's growing on me. Thor does look a little slim on second look, otherwise I liked that one too. The only one I really didn't like is Deadpool's...

    I'd definitely vote to keep the new SG and SL in the game for good. icon_e_biggrin.gif

    I've long wondered why this game doesn't have any vanity items available for purchase to supplement the F2P structure.     More than anything, the latter. We use high res versions of the covers when possible which adds up pretty fast. Not so much an issue for the PC players but if we did 3x covers for 60 characters (and growing) at even a compressed meg a piece our footprint would get way bigger quickly. Card based games get around that with low res or download on demand art. The former works but doesn't look as good and the latter eats through data like Deadpool goes through tacos.

    That being said, definitely interested in hearing any opinions on that front though. Not saying that such a feature would make it in, but be great to hear. icon_e_smile.gif

    I like the idea, but if it affects performance or bloats the game then it's not worth it. I'd love to have options to choose from so I can customize my roster. Problem with it is in practice, i'm going to pick my favorites and never touch it again most likely. So those other covers are just taking up space for no reason.

    Holy cow the framing and energy on the alternate 4Thor cover, and the way the artist makes her hair flow into her cape... Love it. Probably my favorite cover in the game.

    An idea:

    Every time a character comes back from the vault, they come back with a new cover. Might vary up the look a little, and be a fun way to vary things up.

    I mean, good grief.

    Also, how in the world do Starlord's and Gamora's (or is that R&G's) and Spidey's covers symbolize "Women Of Marvel", other than a female drawing them? There are much, MUCH better variants coning out this month, featuring these characters. I've already bought a few. Son, I am disappoint.

    And the Thor one depicts her as a toothpick, instead of a warrior woman. That will get backlash in and of itself.

    There are a few covers I would like to stay, namely IW, Starlord and Ms. Marvel (on Ms Marvel: I don't like her face, but anything's better than that irritating smirk on the former cover).

    But of all the covers, I want you to keep Squirrel Girl the most. It's actually endearingly sweet and I can stand to look at it. The last one was just horrible, so this is a welcome change. Now, if only they would get the artist to illustrate the comic and come in and change the game art. Having a cute SG as part of the game, as opposed to some horrible offspring of a human and the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, would be nice.

    I don't mind the changing of the comic art all that much (because it doesn't change gameplay) but all these special months for groups of people are kinda pointless

    Some of these are absolutely superior, while some are bleh or worse (Rocket and Groot, Spiderman).

    it would be fantastic if we had a choice to keep them, thus making it more of a diverse roster to look through.

    The timing of introducing Iron Fist (and his normal cover) just as this event was kicking off probably didn't work for doing a variant cover for him this year, but this would be a pretty sweet one for next year:

    Besides Spider-Man's I think all of them should stick around for good!

    Love the Starlord, Invisible Woman and She Thor covers. I also love the setting and the colors of the captain marvel one but her butt and legs are not right and she looks like she's losing her hair, that kind of ruins it for me. Deadpool is worst of the lot by far.

    Overall i think it's great to see some variation in covers from time to time. I hope you keep that up.

    Hi, I'm the only guy on the forum who loves the Spider-Man variant! Seriously, I love it. More than any of the other covers, hands down. No contest. No other cover captures the essence of the character's personality so perfectly.

    They are all pretty nice but I like the 4* Thor one the best. The old art was nice, but it was a bit boring. The new one is more dynamic and looks more powerful, thus suits the character. Looks a lot better/Stands out more in my character roster as it should be.

    I think the cover art is a bit hit or miss on being an improvement over the previous offerings but love the idea in general. Particularly love the 4Thor and Starlord covers... and the SG one.

    IW is great, I think this should stick on. I don't care much for the old anorexic IW cover.

    DP is ok but it is definitely better than his big head cover! DP should rotate every month

    Great idea devs. My favorite are Thor and Squirrel Girl. Especially Thor is badass.
