Anyone have any opinions on playing her? I have her at 9 covers and used her a little since she is boosted, and she did not really do much. She can do this extraordinarily stupid thing:
And sure, she's not doing the work, but I don't think anybody else can fill her role here.
Repeatable 3AP powers in support colors are always going to be broken somehow. I'm pretty sure the battery power is broken too, just not sure how yet.
Coulson is so broken at 5* level. I mean, I guess you have to let a turn go by to let those CDs resolve, so there's objectively worse stuff out there. But I still think that is so broken.
It's weird because he's super busted but I never see him. I'm not sure why nobody uses him.
I did have a video of the same team shredding the challenge node, but it was too long for streamable...maybe that's why we never see him? He's not slow in terms of turns, but in real time it takes forever to resolve the CDs.
Run him with Deathlok and Dr. Bong and it doesn't take long for Coulson's CDs to overwhelm the opposing team. The AP generation is nuts with three technologist and low cost powers keep generating more CDs.
Team Name: Agent Deathbong
Ha, I'll give that a shot too.
Coulson just makes so many weird teams work. I know he's probably too good, but I find him really fun -- he was the first 4* I took to 550.

Oh, Silver Sable/4* Moonstone is the AP gen power combo.
Moonstone yellow makes black, Silver Sable black makes yellow and purple.

The last part of the combo is someone who can turn a Moonstone cast into enough damage to complete Silver Sable's mission.
Luckily there's tons of ways to do this! Someone with very high black match damage like M'baku or Colossus might be my first try, but 5* PX could probably do the job too if you're making a match-4 or 5 with Moonstone. 4* PX would be great if you can make match-5s reliably.
I'd like to try Sunspot, who just passively does damage for every Moonstone cast.

Sure I'll just keep answering myself!
Sunspot was fine but didn't really do enough damage, and I ended up with infinite purple AP that I didn't really want to use.
So I tried 1* Hawkeye/Moonstone/Silver Sable and...yeah. it's everything I thought it'd be. You don't really need to bring two different infinite combos, but I guess it's insurance in case one manages to stall out.

Hahaha, I didn't chime in because I didn't want to be that guy calling out her lack of value.
The thing I don't like about all of this, is that her battery is on black. We know Moonstone or Hawkeye don't really need anyone, they are a 1 person show, they can carry ANYONE. So, the other 2 are either there to 1 - secure their turn 1 start, or 2 - bring the pain.
With her battery being on black you naturally think, Moon4, of course. However, you are now asking yourself "if Moon can do all of this herself, what is SilverShame bringing?" because her black doesn't do much other than make Moons infinite slightly faster (maybe). THEN, she also shares the same 2 other colors (1 of them being on CDs, and Moon has no patience for CDs). So I haven't yet found a good reason to choose her over someone with a proper black (Namor3 for sure, XForce even). Blacks like those bring the pain AND speed up Moon. So I personally rule Moon out, just because she has no real need for this friend (even though it definitely does work, and could be good with Silver at 550 boosted, w/ a true heal).
There is an instance I was considering those 2 together, but it would only be that you wanted a boatload of pink for funsies, because Moon takes a little longer to get that on a bad board. So, maybe battery 2 sets of pink and drop some big spender pinks? (whales, IronPatriot etc.)
My interest in her, other than ability spam (which I have not tested yet) would be maybe starting her black on turn 1, to then get the pink and yellow on that same or next turn. EX: Start 5 black plus some other color that guarantees you starting damage (maybe green and Frank, or Spidy and pink). So throw black, then Spidy pink (etc.) on turn 1, triggering the generation, then throwing pink again and something decent with yellow?
I dono, this all of course very early brainstorming as I have not attempted to make her good yet. She would be a lot better if her battery gave something that wasn't already an easy color to get with supports (blue...) OR, if she had any ability to deal damage so she wasn't just a support, because as it stands, I don't think she can hang with other supports like Darkveil or anyone else who can gather AP with black.
Until she is at like 672 and can tank and true heal, she is kinda just like a less valuable actual equip-able support. With the example above, you can definitely start the match with 6 yellow and pink, which is cool (double stun from Gwen4?), but the rest of her has to take up a spot to do it, which I am having a tough time with, until I spend more time actually trying anyway.
I'll look more soon.

@WhiteBomber I like the idea of Iron Patriot, I didn't think of him!
But yeah, her being a support for two existing infinite guys is...less than ideal. I do think the Coulson thing is real, although Multiple Man can sorta do the same thing.

Yeah, the Coulson / spam is definitely a killer, and it's also a little unfair to her just how good MM is
. Honestly, she probably just needs something else, at least SOME damage, or even damage reduction so she could be a functional heal tank. It's a damn hard sell when your main trick is to generate pink and yellow, which both colors have multiple supports to just straight start the match with that 6, rather than using black and needing to do something to acquire it. If we didn't have supports with starting AP, she'd be have more value too, but in a world where everyone is already starting with that much AP anyway, if she isn't there for ability spam and can't reduce enough damage for that heal to matter... Fingers crossed though.
