I've read the purple passive seven times and lose brain cells every time I read it.

So the purple deals damage to the enemy and then immediately heals them for said damage? What's the point?

Edit: appears to deal with the green power

The point seems to be her green, which does damage equal to what she has healed. If she just healed the enemy, they'd end up with more health. By hurting them and then healing them, they don't lose or gain health, but she adds damage counted to her green

Yea I updated my post once I got down to it. 10 ap for her green is pretty steep.

Yeah it’s a bit of a weird setup. Net neutral damage from the extra hit she deals. But it’s all to fuel her green by giving enemies burst health, so she’s not a total dud and relying on enemy team compositions that burst heal.

Who knows how much the green might cost when at 5 covers, maybe 4 AP? Makes you wonder why they costed it at 10 to begin with, as nobody is running her at only 1 green cover…

So this means we're not getting a new 6-star release to replace the 4-star release? Wasn't that the intended rollout for 6-stars? A quick set of 3 releases to build a team, followed by quarterly-ish releases?

The next two 6-stars will replace every other 4-star:

    Galactus
    Red Skull
    Viper
    5-star
    6-star
    5-star
    4-star
    5-star
    6-star

I’m pretty sure their plan is to get 3 6s out on a 4 week cycle which is on an off week from normal releases. Then later slot them into the normal cycle but only every few months.

No it does damage and then does additional damage that heals so it's only the second instance of damage that heals which fuels her other ability (and would also be good with Mephisto I think)

If you pair her with Mephisto she will be doing extra damage because he will reduce the healing

She's the perfect support to skull and zemo. More so than Zola.

Did they update the green active with cost reduction? It looks like it's going down to 4AP at 5 covers, which makes her pretty strong against anybody who does burst heal.

Another set of unnecessarily complicated powers, making this another 'use when necessary' type. Oh well... :|

She seems neat, wish she was a 5 or 6 however with these kind of abilities.

I wonder if her purple passive will always heal the same damage, or if strike/may/whatever will put it ahead.

Quite a number of heroes and villains in MPQ produce burst health, making Doctor Strange, 3-star Kamala Khan, Nico Minoru, Karolina Dean, Apocalypse and the like very useful for Viper's move kit. Characters like Shang Chi and Luna Snow produce actual healing, whether it's selfish or selfless, meaning they might compromise with Viper's intended use of utilizing burst heal to deal massive damage.

It's really going to boil down to your battle preferences. Are you looking to cure or collect damage? Cure requires having characters who can actually heal, and there isn't a lot of them. Collecting means being able to take some damage to build up "Ad Nihilium", but you have to be careful not to lose too much health, or you could unintentionally put one of your allies at risk of Downed. 5-star Captain America's Yellow power "On Your Feet, Soldier" not only revives a Downed hero, their revival is made up entirely of burst health. Might be something worth experimenting with.
