Update on Baron Zemo’s Quests

We’ve temporarily taken down Baron Zemo’s quests due to an exploit related to a bug that resets quests. Once the issue is resolved, likely with the release of R329 next week, we’ll either reinstate the quests or provide compensation.

    Hopefully you'll just hand out compensation, because I had the use his abilities quests half done and I'd rather not have to restart them completely

    The exploit was playing the game.

    Every day the daily quests reset about 10 minutes before the new ones arrive. Most days, anyway.

    Should those be removed too? Should all season quests be removed?

    Because how did other players get the Loki costume already other than by completing the resetting quests?

    Most of them reset with no player action taken. To use this Zemo example as the precedent would suggest all season quests should be disabled until the developers figure out how to fix all the quests so all players experience the game the same.

    Honestly I'm far more concerned about people who already got that awesome Loki costume than anyone racking up hundreds of Zemo covers.

    The compensation should be "I get the Smurf costume immediately and nobody else gets anything ever."

    Can you confirm per your observed policy, no rollback of players that used this exploit will take place? Just more evidence of, use an exploit until it gets patched through.

    With the state of the game I would focus on the achievement and not on the socalled exploit. Bravo!

    No rollbacks, those players will be punished by having to roster a championed Zemo.

    And really, that's punishment enough!

    Real punishment would be forcing those players to use Zemo in all PvE and PvP events for a full season (so in effect they'd be able to only change 1 character on required PvE/PvP nodes or 2 characters on non-required nodes).

    Good thing I got all the quests done before. Man this wouldn't have happened on the OLD ENGINE just saying

    @slidecage - I'm guessing you're on meds after the gall bladder surgery so I'd just check with your Doc on impacts and side effects. I'm not sure if your message makes sense to you in the cold light of day, and I'm not trying to be a jerk if it does - just worried for you.

    Maybe he just escaped from his ward and the tailing off bit at the end was when the tranquiliser dart hit?
