Daily Play Token Bug & Exploit Farming

Pretty ambiguous here. Can we get some sort of definitions like how many is an infraction? How long is it going to be before you get rolled back if you "broke the rule"? Because evidently the "exploit" has been known for some time...and I can understand why folks might be irritated if you roll back a roster where someone loses weeks of legitimate play...They're not going to give you a number, because that's just telling people how much to safely exploit it. If they're setting the cutoff at 5000, for example, there are players who will do it 4999 times.

I've been getting anywhere from 2-4 tokens a day through just normal playing. Once I hit 10 tokens, I use them and clear the rest of the vault with HP every because, exploit or not, it's a really good vault. I've probably cleared it at least five times already.
So would the rollback delete out all of the stuff that I got from the vault because I've emptied the vault several times already? Would I get the Hero points back?

I'm betting there's also a pretty good chance that they aren't actually planning to roll anyone back, but this warning is a good scare tactic to make sure the people that were doing it stop doing it.

Then let people have those 4999 tokens or whatever number they choose. That's the price of releasing a build that is obviously known to be broken and better than further antagonizing players who are already frustrated with the all the other issues like incredible lag.

The last time we had a big exploit (the time travelers) it required some serious shenanigans to do. Users were clearly doing something nefarious to get extra stuff.
This time is very different. The devs botched this rollout out magnificently, the "exploit" is just turning the game on. And they've known that turning the game on was giving out tokens for weeks and haven't done anything about it. That's all on them and not on the playerbase.
If someone grinded by turning their phone off and on 5000 times I don't honestly care. Those players are already way past the "having a life" portion of the player base and are most likely folks that normal players aren't encountering in the wild anyway.
I'm more put off by the implication that this is somehow the userbase's fault when the devs created every step of the problem. And not just this one problem that benefits users but dozens of other non user friendly bugs. Said next to nothing about those bugs but had a mini tirade against "exploits" that they failed to fix.

Great, then give me 4999 tokens too.

This might seem crazy, but why not... I don't know... patch the issue instead of threatening your player base (who is already upset with you)?probably needs a client update, and this "issue" hasn't climbed up the list yet.

Really just 2500, since their bug is there on both Fan Favorite and Winter in July.

No give us all the tokens due to us by others cheating. Seems only fair or else they can give back their cheated earnings. Anything else sucks.

No.
The attitude about this is just completely backwards. Someone sitting there for 24 solid hours getting a token every 5 seconds is not ripping off the devs. They're not paying them back for a botched rollout. They're getting a significant advantage over ME, because I'm not going to sit there spamming the reset button for a whole day or whatever. Unless they're giving the tokens to everybody, they should roll back the people who are egregiously exploiting this.

Assuming you take one minute to log in and play a match you couldn’t have done it yet….5000 x with no sleep is 3.47 days.
If there’s a person doing that great. Let em.

So what should we do now? Uninstall the game? Take a hiatus until this mess gets fixed?
I don't want my account rolled back for being handed tokens I never wanted nor asked for. Yes, I do restart the game multiple times a day. What do you want me to do? The new engine is clearly a mess, there are bugs everywhere! I didn't ask for this.

Then roll back all the cs cover swaps from before the new hp cover swap went live.

No problem with a roll back but you have let steam do it for 3 weeks. Are you rolling them back too?
They absolutely need to remove BCS from this game and give it to someone else, the lies and lack of faith now has never been lower. The game is being destroyed in front of our eyes. Get them out.

I suspect "a few times" is not what is happening here.

Got it. Awful gameplay caused by the way too soon rollout of the new engine without enough testing is fine. CS not answering tickets for months at a time, absolutely okay. But any bug that might benefit users is an exploit. Seems like you folks really just want us all uninstall this game lately. It doesn't affect "users" though. It affects a presumably small group of players who are repeatedly force closing the app to farm hundreds of extra tokens. That's absolutely an exploit.
If they gave 300 tokens to everybody in error that's a completely different thing. This isn't players getting one over on the devs, it's players getting one over on other players.
How is this getting one over on other players? You can only get a character to 550. There is no "over" 550 that I know of at this time. So if someone is farming tokens, is this really affecting us at a high level in PVE or PVP? And, if so, shame on the devs for letting it even get into the wild.
Personally, I haven't upgraded yet and refuse to do so until the last minute. But everything about it seems borked and really don't see how anyone should be punished for how bad it is.
