I don’t actually get a ton of value out of them in PVP either, I lean hard on Power Stone L5 on whoever is boosted usually and forget to swap them. But it does take an eternity to grind them so hopefully they don’t get turbo nerfed, just made differently useful.

Is this live now? Is it only for Unity (is that just PC)?

    It's live for all platforms.

It's live for sim, but not regular pvp.

Like most others, I ground those supports to R5. I use car and copter both on all PvE and use them and leapfrog in PvP. I even enjoy going against teams with those supports, just for the challenge. PvP gets rather boring to me so anything to shake it up is welcome to me. I also think that just removing those supports from PvP and leaving them alone for PvE would be better.

Remember when Worthy Cap, Hawkeye & Captain Carter was an unstoppable combo until a rebalancing.

Or how Bishop was a PVP god until rebalancing.

    Bring on more rebalances.

Maybe look at how the Yaro Root makes it so 5-Star Riri is an unstoppable stun cannon.

And Atlantis? Is Yaro any better or just the one people prefer to use on Riri?

Note: I do not ….support….nerfing the AP supports.

Pls don't nerf them, just let us use them in PVE and keep them disabled in PVP.

I have Car and Copter at R5, the others at R4. Bought some stuff to get them there, if the game is healthier for them not to be in PvP I am for it. I honestly hate playing against them. I got an idea to take money from me… maybe make one called The Ultimate Nullifier and it can shut down a support randomly at the start of the match.

I also hope this means they're going to go back to making NEW supports, and rebalancing all the old ones.

What is it that makes SHIELD Sim so special? Last to get (not including LR) and first to lose when the arguably more important individual PVP carry on. So weird.

We don’t want supports in PVP at all….. It’s hard to gauge the effectiveness of a team when supports are involved. Honestly it turns the game to a 3v6 because now you have to matchmake the supports as well as the characters. It’s just all bad right now.

Just finished getting Eros to R5 and already had Leapfrog and Fantasticar there already so great. Maybe if we had some new Supports to chase this might feel better than what will be a gigantic nerf. Despite the suggestions I don’t really see any useful way of rebalancing Frog that doesn’t mess with the point of it.

A useful rebalance is to make the invisibility turn based and not a tile.

Not necessarily. You can get rid of a tile sometimes as soon as it arrives/the AI matches it itself. Is the invisibility that big of a problem in a world with Juggernaut and Mighty Thor zaps?

Please stop speaking for all users. Speak for yourself. I very much want supports in PVP, they have sped my game up and allowed me to take out nuisance characters early. Do I want some of them balanced, yes. There was also a poll on this and general consensus was not that people didn't want supports in PVP.

God boost clearly doesn't work either, pretty consistently there has always been a team that people use regardless of god boost. That's what should be addressed. If you remove god boost it even stops the AP boosted teams from one shotting you on turn 0.

The issue with this game has always been the complete lack of any focus or speed to re-balance game play additions.

I've worked hard to get every classic 5* Champed and now I want to get to use all of them boost champed, thank you very much! If we have to let's just nerf Sam - he isn't very old so the pain will be less.

It's a problem depending on the team you run (not all have an AoE). If it just let you avoid the big hit without the invisibility part (or just made you invisible for 1 turn like the Away part does at R5) it would be fine.

Problem for many (like EB mentioned in another thread) is that they want to turn 0 use a Nuke like a 672 Ares green thanks to Green supports/boosts and it annoys them they can't. I suspect plenty of other players against supports are against Leapfrog especially for this reason since their AP boosts and free AP supports don't let them fire nukes on turn 0/1 (the horror).

Oh don't get me wrong, Leapfrog can be very irritating but I don't think it is as bad as being made out. I'm fine with a nerf as long as it isn't made utterly useless. Which it will be. Thinking about it, I think the bit that rubs in the salt is the heal once you come back from away!
