After an amazing tenure as our OG mod, I'm sad to announce that @fight4thedream has decided to step away from his role as moderator on our forums. This is a huge loss for our community and I'm sure many of you can agree that his impact on building these forums over the decade is palpable!

I'd like to personally thank him for being nothing short of professional and welcoming since we took over MPQ a few years ago! He's been such a wealth of knowledge during these times and I really can't express how bummed we are to see him go.

Meanwhile, @Scofie will still be around to take on and off his mod hat as we usher in this new era of MPQ. At his helm, @Alfje17 has graciously stepped up to the plate to help fill our vacancy so please also join me in welcoming the newest member of our mod team!

    I know that we're in good hands with @Alfje17 because of the upkeep on the DDQ - Random Rotation thread, a thankless job already being consistently handled. Welcome to the power!

    Really sorry to seee you go @fight4thedream, thanks for the excellent work all these years, after having to deal with us you deserve the break! I am sure @Alfje17 another forum veteran will make a worthy replacement.

    I am very much going to miss @fight4thedream who has been so patient, helpful and insightful during my time as a mod here. You've been amazing and it won't be the same without you.

    Ah well, it was worth a try. But by virtue of being in the UK you'll understand what a crumpet is, so that is at least a start to bringing civility back to this place.

    Good job @Alfje17 will also be familiar with afternoon tea with scones, (but it has to be jam first, and scone rhymes with stone). Anything else just wouldn't be civilised!
