She said clotted cream was “really like a version of butter and you put it on what is really like a > quick bread”.
“It’s much easier to put the jam on top. If you put the jam first and then you try to put the cream on, you drag the jam, whereas the cream is heavier.”0 -
Nice, a southern style biscuit with strawberry jam and butter. (Perhaps clotted butter if it were left out too long.) Looks to be a tasty breakfast sandwich.

I feel like the announcement thread about forum moderation has gone a touch off topic. Does anyone know how to keep these things on topic?
@ThisisClemFandango that's your remit no?

Scofie is like that supply teacher you used to have who hated children and severely regretted his life choices

Also I don't know what the clue was as they don't even bother, but If it wasn't "boats and..." I think we should all just pack it in

Sugar bear has spoken, enough jibber jabber.I don’t know if they have lots of Twizzler flavors over there, but I live near Hershey (makers of Twizzlers) and now I’m very wary of going back to their giant store with exclusive flavors.

Ha ha, no Turkey Twizzlers are not sweets/candy like US Twizzlers are - they are this:
They were made by UK based Bernard Matthews who was famous for his turkey products, they contained barely 30% turkey and were synonymous with legendary bad UK school dinners and just generally **** British food. They actually stopped making them until some maniac decided to bring them back in the pandemic.

What kind of processed food sorcery is this? It looks like a combination of schnitzel and curly fries, which looks all kinds of wrong, but I would absolutely try if I got the chance.
I give the overall concept a 9, but the questionable execution only deserves a 3.
