    @Machine , I wouldn't expect ANYTHING different prior to the new set release. I'm assuming they're all-hands-on-deck for that, first and foremost, and any new changes would be released/expressed on update notes.

    So... Give em a couple more weeks.

    I think that a big part of the problem is that we’d prefer to get our official updates from @Magic:PQ Support Team and not unsubstantiated rumors from YouTubers.

    It does not take much effort at all to fire off a quick “sorry we’ve been so quiet, we’ve been busy with the new set release” and the fact that they can’t even be bothered to do that is making it difficult for the players who haven’t yet quit to get excited.

    The messaging about this upcoming release is fundamentally different than prior releases and a lot of people are rightly upset about the way this has been mishandled.

    @gozmaster - how do you even know the next set is what WebCore is working on? Or is it just because the next set must be due soon - based on previous years?

    There's already preview videos for cards from the next set so it's definitely coming soon.

    @Xibvert - so @Sarah is completely right in her criticism? The previews are not in my feed! Perhaps it is from a YouTuber, I have banned for bad behaviour.

    Sad, if you have to be forced to listen to individual YouTubers you don’t want to hear from, in order to be informed about MTGPQ.

    @Tremayne There should still be a message in your mtgpq inbox for a Goz Master card preview video. There was also a Main Loop card preview before that. But yeah it's all YouTube for now You'll have to wait a little bit longer for the full set preview if you don't want to watch the YouTube videos.

    @Xibvert - ok thanks. Unless we are in between community managers, I don’t get this communication strategy.
    But come to think of it, a missing community manager could explain a lot regarding the recent communication lull on these forum from WebCore.

    Yeah i still don't like this change.

    This change is not good. It is c r a p. How's that meant to encourage players to play the game?

    Also is anyone else here sick of runes from journal quests?? I'm tired of that, i don't need more runes yet. I'd prefer packs.. like other legacy packs.

    Oh, I'm not expecting anything anymore. You got that right. What I don't agree with is the "give em a couple more weeks". They have had AMPLE weeks to give any sign of life, which they have refused to take. There has been a major discussion on the forum initiated by prominent players of this game's biggest alliances. And what did they do with that? Just the same, disappointing answer as always.

    The ONLY sign of "communication" I have seen is a mail in my game's inbox that links to two videos of CCs. That's it. No news here on the forum, no discussion here, not even a hint of life from the "community manager". And you still think it's strange people run away from this game? Are you still giving them the benefit of the doubt? Are you still as positive as ever? Nah, my patience with them is over. They started out great, but this has been the worst managing of the community that I can remember. There's a reason why so many people come by here and express their concerns. Instead of dealing with their customers' worries, they prefer to spend their time on sending links to YouTube videos, reducing the daily login rewards covered as improved user experience (what a condescending joke!) and focus and releasing as many cards / new sets as they can. Where's the monthly Q&A? Right...

    Start the game all over as a beginner!
    You will think completely different.
    Since the daily rewards are reduced to something like a little more than nothing the journal and events are the main source of runes to level your planeswalkers.

    Try to collect 300k+ runes for a 3 color pw as a beginner or 170k+ for a 2 color pw. How long do you think it may take?

    I've always logged in each day, even if I had no time to play. The changes a still frustrating I do actually need mana runes I still have 3 3-colour walkers 3 2-colour, and quite few monos to do. I've mostly just spending yellow gems on planeswalkers

    lol, I just look at the history of previous sets and there release dates, WC has been VERY consistant as of the last few sets of getting them out a week or 2 after it drops in paper... so...

    Oh, and we're now in spoiler season, so that pretty much confirms all that.

    Who hurt you? lol....

    I typically post the cards after they've all been posted on youtube... and if it's a full boycott you're going for, just have someone on your team server take screenshots and post them there...

    Challenge solved.

    Um... no. Never was. People come and go for all kinds of reasons, all their own. Do I understand them all? Of course not. But I get the sentiment.

    Um, yes... till this set drops and we see what changes, if any are given, as promised.

    Ish... I'm (in general) a positive person about the game... cause... it's ... a game. If I enjoy playing it, I play it. If I don't, I say so. And despite all the changes, I enjoy playing it, but... MAJOR things need to change if the game is going to have any kind of future... and those changes NEED to start this set drop. So, fingers crossed.

    Nah, my patience with them is over.

    They started out great, but this has been the worst managing of the community that I can remember.

    Could be... We DEFINITELY need another community manager if we've lost ours here. (And another "July Role" )

    Of course I haven't forgotten about Julie, I just had no idea what you were referring to.

    Julie worked so hard to personally convince many people (myself included) to come back to the forum and for what? I am grateful for the sneak peeks but there is very little interaction from the devs here despite the players' best intentions.

    Not everyone wants to get their MTGPQ new filtered through youtube videos and I don't know why the strategy for exchanging information changed and I'm unhappy about it.
