    I probably love this game too much to quit but I am also really pissed about the poor handling of the daily rewards, the discounts at the Christmas sale and the RGP coalition event! I am level 451. @Magic:PQ Support Team We need a proper response soon!

    The daily login rewards have been an institution to this game for as long as I can remember. It's disappointing to see them diminished in value; it's both less resources given to the players and less incentive to login to the game.

    I really like the idea of giving mana runes from 22 onward. What about either a lottery or "spin the wheel" mini-game that has a jackpot with the other options being nominal amounts?

    At best, it’s an insult to our collective intellect. At worst, pure evil, playing upon the emotions and love people have for this once-great game. I regret all the previously kind words I had for WC.

    They’re running it much like a casino. Half-concealed (or fully, who really knows, w/o looking under the hood) but significant changes, and a ton of psychic driving.

    They changed Training Grounds to Quick Battles in name only, but more than ever before, the game drags on like molasses. Just one such example.
    Trying to blind and fleece any new sheep who may wander in.

    The house always wins. For shame, but they have none!

    Be careful of what this is doing to your brain receptors y’all. They have connects to the old school gambling/gaming industry. Obviously, they are working to subliminally push people into that.

    Start ‘em young, like the classic dope pusher, and mercilessly target the same neurotransmitters.

    “Pssst, hey kid- come over here. The first hit is free!”

    This has long been the goal of shameless and creepy puppeteers, bringing gambling to once innocent games. What a sick and base playbook.

    Honestly might still give a little benefit of the doubt that terms in the games banners didn't get an update like some things have faced at times - (Case in point: the times that you might see a previously exclusive card from an older set, being back in the vault and yet still labeled as "Exclusive Card Offered" or such. Some non-exclusive masterpieces get this label used on them as well when they now pop into Specials).

    Point I'm getting at, but hard to check yet: are we even sure that the next "Daily Reward" system/bundle/set doesn't start after this given 21 days? Yes, it says January - but it could be a carry-over from older systems. But I will cede to you that we can't quite check that ourselves as the Daily Rewards page doesn't have a timer that says yes, this does just go on fully for 21 days, or no, this whole thing is all that is available for the next remainder of 30/31 days. Did it used to have a timer?

    But atm, it is less rewards over the period of time, which doesn't really help. Comparing to some other games, maybe some monthly/seasonal system/set/progression-rewards are more rewarding or have different rewards for different months or cycles. But alas, it is labeled January, and we may have to just see until further notice.

    Stuff in this game could use some reworks, but for now, if you need to check the level 60 of a Planeswalker that you do not own and that is not in Specials, you can check that info by going to Profile -> Change -> and then in the Planeswalkers tab, check the one you want to check.

    Doesn't work for what you do already own, as those will just show the abilities at the level that y'all have it at ATM. Also, in real time am noticing a bug that if you check the front face of Urza (Lord Protector) which just has two Loyalty Abilities, then it just shows you the first two abilities of other Planeswalkers that you check afterwards, until back out of that menu. Also, you aren't able to check the flipped side of Urza in Select an Avatar.

    It’s super-fun the way the game still sends out push notifications to remind us to collect rewards that no longer exist.

    They need to update the app to get rid of this notice. Until then, just turn notifications off.

    I guess they can't for now, because they are very busy to implement the next set.

    The next set release date is the 14th of February, and this set will be released in mtgpq shortly after paper. My prediction is that the mtgpq new set day will be the 18th or 25th of February. With a higher chance for the earlier date.

    Keeping this in mind there is a lot to do in the next two weeks for them.

    I was not that bad in guessing in the past.

    Figuring out what to take next from us and promoting it as "improved user experience".

    It seems that they must be short staffed. But then again, isn't everyone? I've had a number of players with account issues where they've been locked out of their account for multiple weeks. They've just started to get access back late last week. These were issues that in the past could get solved in just a couple of days.

    Yeah, it took five days for me to get a response from customer service last week and I was really shocked.

    The slowing of customer service, the lack of engagement here on the forum, the sloppy coding, and the desperate cash-grabs paint a pretty grim picture for the future.

    February has started, no changes to the daily login rewards and nothing from the devs... not a great sign.
