How big of a data suck is this game

Would 6gb per month be enough

It'll use more than you think it should if you're on data regularly, but I can't imagine it using anything near to that.

@slidecage are you asking or telling?
You can go into your device's settings and see how much mobile data each app has consumed.

Looks like my Steam account used 2.75 GB in the last 30 days, while my Android one used 1.89 GB.
I play several hours every day, but Steam does often stay open while I'm doing something else.0 -
Thanks all for all the help

Just sucks you can't play the steam with phone or tablet

I've got a cheap laptop that runs Steam. There are games that it can't run in Steam, but it will run Steam. MPQ can't take that much power to run.

MPQ doesn't need much to run on a laptop: at the moment I use a Yoga (4GB RAM, 128GB SSD, Win10) and see no difference in performance with my desktop (16GB RAM, 256GB SSD+1TB HDD, Win11)

My 9 year old laptop runs it fine (GT 750M graphics card).

That just means triple AAA games. like COD, Baldur's Gate III. anything that requires a high end GPU. MPQ is lightweight in that sense. and high bandwidth usually just means its sync art files etc... that part can be slow especially over mobile (i.e,. if I have to switch from tablet to phone, the first reload is slow especially the phone is several updates behind)

not that good with pc set up how about this one
or would you spend the extra what 120 and stick with best buy since office is a ryzen 3 while best buy is a ryzen5
that office depot is tempting with 4 year warranty under 330 think best buy is close to 600 with warranty
best buy said you couldnt download it due to some S Feature that makes it hard to download stuff ??

Honestly, The first thing you should do is format the hard drive and reinstall from scratch. Personally, I would advise you away from the warranty. (but it is a legitimate valid serivice, and fyi business buy service contracts on their pcs as well) If you do get a warranty only do it for max 2years. I can assure you with 100 confidence that in 2 years, which ever laptop you purchase will be ewaste compared to the 2 years in the future equivalent.
When you see "AI" features, it just means "local" processing vs needs internet access. In real world terms, it means your apps can do all the fancy object detection, language models type next gen stuff without having to goto the cloud. Simply put, imagine all the apps on your phone/tablet/pc that don't work when the internet goes down. The PCs that have the appropriate AI hardware can do all processing in the AI chip vs having to upload to the cloud and rely on some server farm.
As an alternative consider using a tablet like ipad/surface. The app ecosystem(Apple/MS/Google) is very robust and I would be be surprised if there weren't equivalent/similar apps.

Sincere opinion
HP consumer laptops are all mid tier compromise. The frame will have alot of flex, and the keyboard will be mushy at best. At the sub $500 price point, you would be better off with a separate screen, keyboard, mouse, "computer". You can easily replace/upgrade those components on a as needed basis.
If you do have an existing screen keyboard setup. You would be better off with a NUC style minicomputer. Simply goto Amazon and search "mini computer" Don't be afraid of the brand names here. Its ALL the same mid-tier consumer grade junk. Don't get me wrong "business/engineering" grade laptops are wonderful marvels of engineering. Simply put don't expect Apple level integration unless your paying Apple level prices.
You will see alot of 4inch by 4 inch by 3 inch cube style computers. Roughly speaking those will be functionally equivalent hardware and it will certainly run all the same software. Don't give a 2nd thought about expansion. anything you "might" need will almost certainly connect via external cable.
Give some serious though to the warm apple/microsoft/google HW embrace. Yes you pay more, but the software/HW integration is important. While I personally would never recommend any of those vendors. I do acknowledge the main stream vendors have well engineered services that are all pretty easy/straightforward to use.

These aren't bad PCs, but its also on the back 1/2 of the technology cycle for that generation. Old for what would be commericially sold, but still fully usable with an OS that receives regular development and security updates. You can reasonably expect software updates for at least 5 years, so its fine for home users.
$399 is a decent price. In Aliexpress terms, (dealing with the manufacturers), you would expect to pay around 275 no monitor or keyboard.
While I'm not at all advocating buy this machine or any hardware from Aliexpress, its a good pricing guide for what OEM manufacturers expect. If you look at the hp (amd 7430) vs generic 'nuc (amd 6600), the hp cpu is just 1 manufacturing cycle newer, and next year, the hp specs will be the default specs sold by the OEMs who are essentially using new stock that wasn't sold into laptop manufacturing into special purpose minicomputers.
The real criticism is that the laptop case assembly/construction is gonna be an order of magnitude worse than the workstation/engineering standard laptop. The real test is goto any best buy grab the laptop and flex it/twist it. you'll feel the flex and give on cheap consumer grade hardware, that won't be present in Prosumer or higher grades of retail products. The 2nd knock is the trackpad always glazes away from finger/hand oils. Thats not a big deal when you can buy replacement keyboard/mice. As a comparison, even cheap android phone/tablets use touch on a glass screen. Simply take out any old phone and compare it the touchpad/trackpad on a 3 to 4 year old pc. You'll see the glass interface looks immaculate compared to an old used trackpad. (even macbooks suffer from this issue)
tldr If you need to buy a laptop, then this a resonable purchase that won't become software obsolete for at least 5 years.

Actually this version has the same processor, so you can see that hardware "tier" is in the 280 price range. No keyboard/mouse/monitor.
These are all reasonable equivalent PC parts. These components could have easily been used by hp asus, whoever. just happens that this batch got made into mini computersever
