End of match insult to injury

Is it REALLY necessary to have the AI fire off 4 abilities after I'm more than sufficiently dead? It's like getting tea bagged by the truck nuts on the pickup that just ran you over. icon_rolleyes.gif

  • It may be annoying, but against the likes Juggernaut, Ares, Hulk or Sentry, you could actually end up winning the match despite being dead. I once won such a match against Hulk.

  • What I find insulting is the commercial you have to look at after you get wiped. The one that tells you that you should be removing enemy shield/strike tiles. Then it gives you links to purchasing covers. Apparently the game thinks I play well enough that starting me off in the lightning round with opponents at 212/212/141 is okay, but I'm not smart enough to know the game's basics...

Agreed. I once bashed an Ares Hulk someone team to within points of death, only to die to the Sunder bug. The opponent's 5 black Hulk then Angered himself to death. It counted as a win.

My personal favorite is when OBW robs the corpses of my fallen heroes.

No, insult to injury is breaking shield in the last five minutes of an event to get the 900 point progression reward when sitting at 898, winning 21 pts. but geting hit for 20.

I gained one point, tied with 11th, netting me 12th, only 17 points behind 10th, and got a bagman cover.
I swear he was laughing at me.
